| I really should update this thing, but I don't have much
time. Briefly I'll say that this past week was Mission Week at Imperial
College and it went really well. There were evangelistic talks everyday
at lunchtime and our speaker was really good. He clearly and boldly
shared the Gospel often and many people heard. Several non-Christians
attended the talks, and many came to more than one. A lot of people
were asking questions and it was just really cool to see that people
are seeking God (sometimes you begin to think there aren't any!), and
it was so evident that God is working in their lives. It was a really
exciting week and I'm just so thrilled that the Gospel was proclaimed
at Imperial and encouraged by my students who are passionate about
reaching their friends and campus for Jesus.
Early tomorrow morning, I am leaving for southern Spain
for the STINT mid-year conference. We will be reuniting with people who
are on STINT all over Western Europe and Central Asia. I expect it to
be a really refreshing, restful and encouraging week and I'm so
excited! I made some friends at STINT briefing in August, so I'm
excited to see them again. It will be so fun to talk with them and hear
how things have been going for them in ministry and in life. It will be
so fun and encouraging to talk with people who are doing the same thing
I am: living overseas, working with college students and serving the
Lord. Plus, it's going to be awesome to be on the beach in warm, sunny
Spain! :)

| Merry Christmas!!! I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow! First, I'm going to Heidelberg, Germany, then to Barcelona, Spain! I'll be in Spain over Christmas, spending the holiday with some dear friends from my team from NYC! Then, I come home and the next day MY SISTER COMES!!!! I am SO SO excited to have her here visiting me! I hope you have a very Merry Christmas, full of sweet times with friends and family, joyfully celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus! | | |
| I know it's time to update this thing, but I've always been too
tired/lazy to do it. I should though, because lots of good things have
been happening!
Here are the highlights:
Thanksgiving dinner! (So much delicious food, so much fun!)
Going on the London Eye at night! (So beautiful with all the city lights!)
Pub dinner (cottage pie, "chips", peas and treacle--proper English food, so good!)
Hanging out with STINTers from Turkey (the country) and a Crusade intern from CO (really nice, really fun people!)
Watching "Casino Royale" in the theater (a proper British experience and a really entertaining movie!)
Looking at the Christmas lights on Oxford and Regent Streets (So beautiful, and really fun for getting in the Christmas spirit!)
Oh, I am loving London and it's only going to get better as we get closer to Christmas!!!

| I got a haircut and I really like it! (It might not look
too different to you, but there are lots of layers, which makes my hair
look wavy!)
