| Wild Weekend and hello Monday mmmm yeah Wild Weekend. I won't bother telling how it all went down, just be happy knowing the fact that it was the wildest weekend I've ever had. Yes, it was a chemical-free, smoke-free weekend lolz. I was so exhausted from it that on saturday, yesterday, and today I had moments of complete laughter. Dan and Dave can testify to my hilarious heyena laugh.
Today started out fair enough, when to alright, and ended awesome. Because I woke up and had breakfast, went to wavy lake superior for a swim, and ended chilling with Tyler. And oh yes it is her birthday today! I scored MUCHO BROWNIE POINTS with the gift selections. Hahah YES! *crowd goes wild*
So tomorrow will be day 1 of a 6-day, 50-hour work week. YUCK! Buuut it means 10 hrs of overtime at $10.50 an hour! hehe I should be able to make $85 in a day. Not too bad. Now if I could make that much 5 days a week, 50 or so weeks a year. That'd be like $20,000 a year. Though now that I think about that....that's pathetic for income...barely above poverty line...but also liveable. Heck of a lot more than the $200 a week that I manage.
Well time for dinner and playing Max Payne....mmmm!!! :)
| Awesome times and work that bitesSo...what I've been doing these past few days...
Friday: Hanging out with Tyler......Saturday: Hanging out with Tyler......Sunday: Hanging out with Tyler.....Monday: Hanging out with Tyler for 12 hours oh my goodness.....Tuesday: Hanging out with Tyler.....
Geeeee hmmm I wonder what I like to do....
My favorite time was Monday...did some snorkeling along the presque isle breakwall...then went to lower harbor breakwall with snorkeling plans but we ended up just sitting on the beach and talking. It was fairly cloudy/very hazy so the sun was kinda slightly hidden all day. But as we're on the rocky beach-type area (across from the coast-guard station), Tyler laid down on her back for a respit and then the sun showed up. All that light lit her face so bright and all I could do was go "WOW". I'm talking jaw-dropping, heart-stopping, breath-taking, awe-inspiring BEAUTY.....WOW!
Well more like "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!"
Good thing this wasn't at a busy intersection or there would've been some traffic accidents...seriously...if you don't believe me then that's too bad...because it's true. Being with Tyler is like opening christmas presents all the time while eating halloween candy. Sounds a little weird, but it's just seriously the best of days when I can hang out with her....mmmmmmmm.
Okay so the awesome part of the post is done with. Time to talk about work I guess. Booorring.
Well Sunday was insane at work. The power went off and on really quick...but that reset the computers that handle all the orders that servers send to the kitchen.
Everything got scrambled...some orders were doubled, others completely lost....basically it sent the kitchen into a permanent scramble for the rest of the night. And we were extremely busy. And Red Lobster shut down for a few hours due to that power thing basically wiping out their power. So R.L. customers came to applebees. We had a 30-40 minute waiting period for a solid hour. Yuck. And it's just little ol' me washing the dishes....my goodness I've never been so busy before. I was sooooooo tired!!!!!
Okay so...Tyler is an awesome x 10,000 girl and work can get crazy. The End.
Comment if you like me! | | |
| Boating, work, and still mysteriously tiredwow.
hehh.
yepp.
Anywho,
So yesterday I called Tyler's mom to talk with her and she's like "hey we're down at the lower harbor crewing come join us" so I went down, had a chat, then the 6pm crewing group showed up and they're like "uuuuhh nooooo we don't have anyone to run the safety launch (aluminum outboard motorboat)" and I was like "I'll run it" and Jamie's like "Really?" and I'm like "yeah". So with a quick training course on operating that particular motor, I motored out and then was the follow for the crewing boat. It was awesome! Ah what fun. Looks like I've got a new job lol!
But yeah. So I've been SOOOOOOOO tired this past week. I don't know why! though I've been averaging 5-6 hours sleep per night, that might be why, but I just feel soooo drained. Ugh. I need to go back on my vitamins I think. That would help immensely.
Well maybe tomorrow or Saturday Tyler and I might get together for awesome movie times, or long walks on the beach, or something else. Who knows. I haven't seen her since Sunday, which on the grand scale of things is nothing, buuuuuuuuuuuuut, well, you know! :)
Enjoy!
p.s. I just weighed myself on the electronic scales....I am 298 BABY!!! WOOO!!! My first goal has been reached!! I would've reached that faster had I not been so tired working as a dishwasher, but yeah that is sooooooo sweeeet! Only 65 pounds to go...yeah!!
| Sailing the high seas, lacking the Z'sAh Sunday...what good times we had. By we I mean Tyler and I plus Ty's mom. Church was good...jolly sermons and bible studies mixed with exquisite bass-guitar playing. Afterwards we three went to Togo's for lunch, then Jamie (Tyler's mom) went to check on possible crewing potentials while Tyler and I headed to founder's landing area and played poo-sticks. As it turns out, crewing is on and I end up as a test-passenger of Dolan Cruises, LLC. Tyler was really good at the helm, commanded by her mom to perform tricky maneuvers alongside the skull (the skinny boat for crewing), and I'm just there with my trusty PFD...which brought back memories of my grand sailing adventure in 2005.
After that, we (minus Jamie) went to Jacks and loaded up on junk food, then we went to Jamie's residence and ate away the day while playing Gran Tourismo 2 (I killed her in that), Tekken 3 (I got killed hard-core), and Tonky Hawk PS 3 (yepp I sucked at that also). The fun part was with farting dinosaurs in Tekken 3...very cool when you get KO'd by a fart. I also failed to do any tricks whatsoever in Tony Hawk 3, but I think with a little practice I could dominate Tyler in that. :)
So Tyler and I were planning on squeezing a few hours out of today, but those plans fell through...but that's okay. I was able to wash my work uniform, do some general cleaning of the house, and get an hour or so of MUCH NEEDED SLEEP!
Aside from all that, I had a 40 hour work week two weeks ago, and last week was a 45 hour work week, so my next paycheck will be HUGE!!! YEAH!!! and then it all goes for needed but normal maintenence for my car. That's fine!
Sincerely,
Me. | | |
