| update: so i recieved the cards yesterday and started selling them at school. it was kinda hard selling cards to students that are mostly broke. buy luckly i bumped into a friend that helped me, we manage to sell around 70, if anyone in the neighborhood still need a valentine day's card please contact me, i still have 30. the cards r 3 bucks each, i will count the money on monday/ tuesday and donate it to unicef. | | |

Kinda miss Hong Kong, I went to chinatown with a friend, it was not so clean but very festive, it was mostly a nice little outing.
So i did finally get to print the valentine cards, althought it's really pushing it in terms of timing, and the edition has turned from 500 to a humble 100, but at least its printed! ( i hope the quality is ok, still waiting for dilivery)
I wish i can post it up here, but i dun have a link. Things are about the same, but turning more towards the possitive side, i dun want to jinx anything , so unless sumthing good comes up, i won't announce it here.
I wish everyone great fortune and happyness for this yr! I'm sure we all need it badly.

| wow,I really haven't updated for quite a while, well here is what is going on with me right now, i have 2 very naughty but adorable cats in my apt that wakes me up all the time playing with things they souldn't be playing with. And 2 weeks ago i was running out of money and was worried about paying the rent for next month. Luckly i got 2 freelance jobs in the last week and will get some money for that so i can still last another month. Man this sucks, i had such high hopes in school i thought i will be making and spending money by this time, um looks liek that won't happen for a while, i am currently working on a small project of mine, its a valentine card, it was suppose to be done by now but its taking much longer cos of the freelance jobs plus annoying colour corrections. I was gonna print an edition of 500 and sell them and hopfully give the profits to the tsunami victims, but right now the process is tkaing so long i dunno if it will work out...if anyone knows anything about offset printing and cmyk conversion with colour correction please help me out, i'm in a mini crisis right now. um ppartfrom that i really need to get my book published! anyone who knows ppl in the publishing industry please hook me up, so far i got a meeting with an art director but that is it. Oh well i have a good feeling about this yr and how things will work out, i hope i am right, good luck to u all that is still jobless like me, 2005 is the yr, and we will make it. | | |
| um... i have just met up with a firend form uk that i haven't seen for 10 yr!
she happened to be in nyc, and we had a great time.
as for the 1 month job in the uk , i still haven't got my ticket yet!
i'm getting worried cos i have already signed a 4 page contract, and have signed off my rights.
I"m not in the best of mood now cos i have just found out that publishing house that was previouly interesting in my illustration just emailed me that it won't work out, that is disappointing, and i have so manythings to worry about,
1 UK, not ticket yet... and workign therer and visa
2. My least is almost up, need a new place in brooklyn that is cheap and have space.
3. i really need to work hard and earn some money
so manythings to do, soo lazy and so little time.,
all i want to do tmr is shop for nice clothes for uk, but thats horrible sinc ei haven't even got money yet.

| hey ppl, i haven't updated xanga for quite a while, and i feel that now is the appropriate time to announce that i will most likly be in the uk for a month, (aug) for a freelance job (trial period).
If anyone of you are going to or in the UK during that time , maybe we can meet up, altho i don't know my working schedual and how busy it will be.
i'm a little freaked out about going to the uk since my sis is in hk and i will probably have to do everything by myself, and commuting to work... stradford apon avon, when i don't even know my way around london. But i'm kinda excited cos it will be a great experience.

okay thats about it, now i have my freaken US visa to worry about,....and well my bf, my cats and apt, and other projects on the side.. that requires hard work... but i'm lazy.. and its real hot .. and heat makes you tierd... and the cats are soo cute.. and they want to play.. and there goes another day...
yeah i've been bumming around... now its serious work time and i'm scared.
