| So haven't been on here in a loooooong while. Hope all is wel with everyone. I'm back in school and doing overtime at work. Lethal combo. The one thing I'm really looking forward to is Valentine's day. I never been in a relationship on Valentines's day, so this will be a first. I took it off and plan to cook Kurt & myself a nice meal. We then may go out wioth some of his friends and hit a local pub. Went to a great superbowl party last weekend. Evewnt hough there was only 10 people, everyone was from different backgrounds and it was a great experience. Not much else to say right now. Just trying to make it through life. Have a good one!

1) Still with boyfriend, Kurt
2) Back in school, starting the new semester. Yes, I'm still driving to Albany on Monday. and coming home late Tues/ Wed morning from there. Go Sage Graduate school!!!!
3) Still working as a mental health counselor, but finding more reasons as to why I'm growing tired of it, and none of it is due to doing therapy, or talking with people.
4) Just wanted to say hello to everyone who I have lost touch with in the last few months. Hello to all, and best wishes to eachand every one of you!!!!!!!!!!!

| Joy & PainHappy News:
The latest update is that this special guy in my life is now my boyfriend, and I'm ever so grateful to having found him. He is just so amazing, funny, intelligent, and damn cute too! I'm so blessed by every moment I get to spend with him. For once I truly feel happy.
Here's to the rest of you finding your someone special in your lives.
Sad News:
We had to put down our golden retriever Charlie yesterday. It was one of the most painful things I ever had to do. I couldn't even be in the bldg. when they did it; my mom stayed with him. When I left he kept trying to get up and go with me. I nearly died when I saw his eyes follow me out. In some ways I felt like I personally murdered him, but he had a tumor, the size of a baseball on his right back leg. This began profusely bleeding 3 days before, and had started to become infected. I know he would have been in in more pain if we kept him alive much longer, but I can't imagine a world with him either.

| Life and then happinessOver the last week I havebeen home sick due to a impending kidney stone. This has greatly sucked since it has brought a lot of pain and craziness to my life. Plus, it hasn't even passed yet. The only bonus is I have been off from work formt he whole week, and am finally using some of my sick leave which I have accumulated over the last 3 1/2 years. The downside is when I get back to work I'll have tons of paperwork to do. I may briefly stop in Sunday since one of my co-workers told me its his last day ;-( .
On the happier side of things I have been dating an awesome guy for over 6-weeks. He bought me a stuffed animal and get well card. I don't think he really knew how happy and thankful I was to get it. He just knew I realy liked it. He finally kissed me on the 5th date last week after I gave him a hint I wouldn't mind. Last night was only sweeter while we watched two politically controversail movies- farenhuit 9/11 and farenhype 9/11. Both were interesting and I saw the first one 2x already. My guy held my hand during some of the tougher parts of the movie, which made me extremely happy. I'm really starting to fall for this guy. Plus he soooo gets me, and likewise for him. I can't help smiling everythime I think about him. I totally look forward to the next time I see him, but due to both our busy schedules its has only been on Thursdays mostly. But, since I have off Sun, I'm going to go to Oriskany Battlefiled for a little bit to see him since he is working in the tour center for the day. Plus, I have been wanting to check it out since I found that was one of his jobs.. I plan to bring my camera and takes some pictures to. Might bring them into work so some of my clients and co-workers can see, since most haven't been there. Well that's all I have to say. Take care everyone! | | |
