  • Revival.

Revival that has no reformation is useless.

Adding but not subtracting doesn't work.

Adding God but not subtracting sin isn't God's plan.

I was reading and this stuck out in Jude.

Revival needs Reformation, Revival requires Repentance.

This hit me so very close to home because of many sins I need repentance from.  I just didn't, I am starting though!  I don't want to ever turn away from God because of worldy sins and things that just plain don't matter.  I'm  sorry God!
May everyone who sees this be reminded of what God has done for us and there's no reason we can't do something for Him.
    Each day is an oppotunity..
    Each day is  a Gift!

  • bigStuf 2006! Wired!

Camp This year was the most amazing and life changing experience I've had.. I am going to do my best to not let this flame go out with out leaving camp.
This High that they called it must remain for this week to have been successful!

The Bus Ride: Twas long and tedious. We met at the church at 4:45 AM(yes there is a 4:45 in the morning) and began our long journey. We were all tired but thanks to my friend Jessica, I was awake the whole way! Thanks!!     no sarcasm at all...

The First Night: Pretty much and introductory, we got there messed around on the beach a little, got ready for our first Session.  The Worship was incredible and the songs were angelic.  I was reminded that the heart of worship is about the intimacy with God and not the song that I'm singing.. Even though it wasn't my favorite song , I was finding that Worship isn't about just one certain song.. It's about God. Our First Session was entitled Wired For Another World.  Stuart spoke about how we're not created to be entangled in this world, but to know that the reason we're here is to do our Lord's work.

Day Sunday: Breakfast was better than any ever seen on the planet.. no exaggeration there.  From Breakfast we proceeded to go to Session two at 9:15. Jared Herd spoke on how we are Wired for Wealth.  Money isn't bad, our stuff isn't bad, we can use everything we have for the glory of God.  "God's perspective on Money is that you and I have been given some money and a little bit of time, both of which he wants us to use to build His Kingdom."   What would you do if you had unlimited time and unlimited amounts of money?  After session 2 we were pleasured to have the opportunity to enjoy some nice family come.... pretty much the worst things ever.  Bean and Bailey, if you ever hear they are coming to somewhere near you, run! Long and hard!  Lunch was nice, not as good as breakfast of course... but you know.  We had our Group/Church picture at 1:20.  Free time consisted of 4 hours, of which this first day we spent playing volleyball and Ultimate frisbee.  We won our ultimate game but lost our volleyball game thank so a great referee and some awesome playing by Rocky, the cocky squirell. T-Town stomp hooo! Session 3 was entitled Wired for Wow.  Jared spoke on how we are wired for Wow which is sex, and that our nature for sex isn't bad, but our views on this most wonderful thing has changed thanks to our present society.  "Maximum Freedom is in following God's authority."  Church Group time quickly followed where not much was said but it was still insightful. We are still getting to know one another.  Lights out... yeah right...

Day Monday: Breakfast was another awesome Experience! The breakfast is definitely one everyone needs to experience.  After breakfast we went to our next session. Session 4: Wired Weird, presented by Mr. Little Stuf? Ben heh.  I was shown that many times I ignore someone or just don't notice someone because I don't think they don't have anything to offer me.  I know that it's wrong and I am beginning to work on it. Besides who am I to say who is weird and who's not?  What is average?  We are all weird, and that is what makes everyone unique.  During our student time(the time in which yesterday we were so gifted to have with Bean and Bailey) we heard the bigStuf interns talk about Compassion for an hour.  Jessica definitely fell alseep and Courtney woke up her up... haha it was priceless.  Lunch was somewhat weird but ok.. didn't compare to breakfast though!  Free time: Loss of ultimate frisbee on account of being fair to everyone... haha I am glad everyone had fun though, gave us more time to play volleyball and boogie board(Joel and I both bought some boogie boards on Sunday and we used them for quite some time today.  Tonight we had the Luau. Pretty much just grilled burgers and barbecue chicken.  It was alright, the band was a big strange but hey it's all good.  Today's quiet time was amazing.  First off, just seeing 1500 kids, either on the beach or just sitting anywhere they could find, seeking God in some alone time was awesome.  The waves were soothing and the Sun was setting.  It was truely awesome.  Session 5: Wired for Worship. Jared spoke on us needing to be pretty much sold out for God in all we do.  Pouring everything we have out on Him and the greatness of His glory.  This really opened my eyes, showing me that I care to much about everyone else.  This changed my life completely.  Oh No you Never Let Go Of Me!!    Lights out was pretty much going to walmart and eating McDonalds... haha night!

Day Tuesday: The best day of my life started off with another incredibly amazing Breakfast. Man I gotta say that breakfast and camp is amazing!  Session 6: Wired for this world.  Sounds somewhat contradictory to Session 1 but it makes complete sense.  The way we in which we are wired for this world is servanthood.  Serving is worship.  Bringing glory to God.  We can give God glory and honor by serving him, and praising his name.  Kind of a tie up on session 5.  In Student group time we watched many many internet videos... you know like the Numa Numa song and the Star Wars kid.. many of these funny clips.  "You Are, my fire... The one, desire... " definitely priceless.  Lunch was ok.  Free time was awesome! We played much volleyball and swam very much. Twas the best free time of the week.  I must agree with Ashley and Jessica.. Patrick is a hottie... haha.  We had our last dinner at "The Pirate Ship" definitely not the best but it was still fun.  Session 7: Wired to Win.  Two years ago we had a man named Rick Pearson in the band leading us in worship. Sadly this year he was unable to be here.  In July of 2005 he was diagnosed with Leukemia.  His testimony spoke to me and many others I am sure. He remained faithful through every bit of his sickness.  In September of 2005 he died.  A month before he had heard his dad asking questions and Rick said "If I live I win, If I die I win. It doesn't matter what to me as long as my dad comes to know Jesus." His testimony spoke to me and encouraged me to live for God more than I have ever before.  It was a heartfelt session.  We worshiped for hours. Literally over 2 hours of worship. It was the most awesome thing.. they played a song that Rick had sang at one of the camps last year and the band this year played it while he sand, from there everything went crazy. God moved in that place and showed himself to us.  The Worshiping of His name that night was more powerfull than I have ever seen.  This night was the most memorable of my life.  I love my Jesus!  Chruch Group time was very nice, we have all grown close throughout the week/weekend.  We shared and discussed.  Lights out was lights on.

Day Wednesday: It began at 5:45 AM. Joel, Jessica, Kevin, Kelly, Haley and I woke up ever so early to  watch the sunrise on the beach.  Unfortunately  a giant building blocked out view.  We spent some time together on the beach for our one last time on the beach.  Dug for sea shells and just messed around.. I got choked... it was exhilarating!  I deserved it though.. .I'm sorry Jessica! haha.  Breakfast was the best thing as always! Unmatched by any in the world!  Our last worship service was very nice.  Helped get us ready to go home and keep our fire burning.  I pray that I have the strength to do what God has called for me. I know that all my friends will be there for me and I will be here for you!  I love each and everyone of you!  The busride home was one that was great.  I sat next to jessica, ashley, joel, kevin, britney, jordan, thom, and b-rad... haha It was so much fun. I have to say that I wouldn't have thought Jessica would ever learn to flick like a guy... haha!  Well my friends may each of you never let this camp high die! I will do the best I can to encourage each of you and to keep this alive! We will change the world, and amazing things are coming for us! Prepare for the unexpected! It is here!

This is arguably the longest post in xanga history... but you'er welcome for the good read!

"I know my God saved the day
and I know His word never fails
and I know my God may a way for me
    Salvation is here!"

My God Loves you all! and so do I!
