| It's been a few months since the last time I updated my blog. It seems most of my friends have stopped posting on xanga, and many of my friends start to write notes and stuff on facebook. But to me, facebook is facebook. It's just a social network program to keep in touch with people (or to check out people you don't know?  ) A blog is a blog, so I'm not deleting my xanga account, even though I only update my blog once evey few months and probably will continue with this pace.
Recently I'm getting many facebook friend requests from my high school classmates. It always takes me some time to figure out who they are, 'coz I don't know their English names. It also gives me some mixed feelings when people I hardly talked to back in high school days are now my "friends" on facebook. And nowadays you really need to be careful of what you post and write on facebook. You'll never know who will get info abot you. With high probability your potential future employer will check about your social life on facebook as well....
Anyway, back to my life in Boston. It's October now, and I think I have got back my momentum to work, after the awful summer. Working with a new advisor now, and everything is going alright so far. My research group needs to finish a paper in less than 3 weeks, so it's been quite busy recently. Don't think I'm helping much though. I always feel like I'm the dumbest person on campus after group meetings. I do the work, get the results, but whenever people ask for my opinions or insights, I usually can't give much contribution.
Good news is I'll be home in less than two months. I'm definitely going to eat like a pig when I get home. I'll also be spending the first few days of Luna New Year at home this year! So glad that LNY starts early this year - haven't spent LNY at home for 6 years!

| Hm.... haven't updated in ages... Wrote this new entry just to keep my account from being deleted... Anywayz, I guess I don't have nothing much to write since the start of 2008. I don't even know what I've done this semester, and it's probably the worst time so far here in Boston. Another summer away from home, with no clear directions, no drive, no whatsoever. Weather's nice in Boston. Everyone around is having fun. I'm probably one of the few who's constantly thinking, "What am I doing here?"
Maybe I'll write something again if I manage to stay alive through the summer... or maybe not.

| My final exam for Theory of Computation is the most ridiculous thing ever!
First, it was so ridiculously hard that I really wanted to laugh in the middle of the exam.
And the TAs finished grading the exams today and final grades are already assigned.
Also the average score is 152/200, and MY SCORE IS 138!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is possibly the lowest exam score i have ever had, but I didn't feel unhappy about at all!!! BECAUSE I STILL GOT AN A FOR MY FINAL GRADE!!!! HOW RIDICULOUS IS THAT!!!!!
I really found it amazing that so many ppl can score so well in this exam. But I'm even more amazed at the fact that I got an A (NOT EVEN A-). It's so ridiculous and funny that at this point I still can't stop laughing.
I only need a B, but of coz I don't mind an A la. But I really don't understand how I can get an A with this final exam score lor.
