| UPDATE! So its been how long? haha I don't really know why I decided to write on this, and yet here I am!
So classes are underway and things aren't too bad. I hate Tuesdays and Thursdays because I am on campus all freakin day and my bag is extremely heavy from just one binder. But those days also mean the possibility of Jonathan coming down to see me! Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are wonderful cause I'm on campus from either 9:30-11:30 or 9:30-12:30. So I just come back home and go back to bed. haha
I went back to work at Hastings this week. Surprisingly I don't have to work any closing shifts. Woo! I like working at Hastings, but it seems like no one likes to talk to me. And the one girl that I talked a lot with last semester transferred to Kansas. So that's kinda depressing. But I guess I can't expect to fit in everywhere.
Living in the apartment is nice. I'm living at Campus Park which is the complex that is behind Applebee's and Hobby Lobby. Its also where Hall of Fame ends on the east side. I'm living with Bethany Doerksen, Elizabeth Connelly, and Dawn Kruckeburg. We've tried to decorate with posters and such and are trying to go with a black and white theme since our kitchen tile is black and white. Right now it doesn't look much like it, but we've been meaning to dye our couch slip covers black, and so hopefully whenever we get that done, it'll really start to tie in.
Things with Jonathan and I are going really well! He got a new(er) truck and its amazing! Its a '99 Dodge Ram and I love it. I'm really glad that he has something better and more reliable to drive around in. I'm going home tomorrow to hang out with him. I would stay the whole weekend but I have to work on Saturday. Maybe I'll go back home after work on Saturday depending on when I work next.
Well that's pretty much all I can think of for now. See you in the next I don't know how many months! Oh yeah! I turn 21 in exactly 30 days!!!! YAY!!

| so i started working at hastings last thursday. i worked 7-midnight both friday and saturday and 3-7 today. I have to work a couple days this week too. So far its ok though. Nothing too terrible I guess. But yeah, other than that, not a WHOLE lot going on. Not enough to really do an update for I guess. So until next time... | | |

| Today Has Been One Crazy DayWent to my 9:00 class this morning thinking that I would have a really hard time staying awake in there, and yet I was wide awake the whole time. So that was cool.
Got all ready for my job interview at Hastings and when I got to my car to leave, I found out that the battery was completely dead AGAIN! My interview was at 2 and at this point its 1:45. So I ran back into my room and asked Eric if I could borrow his car. Luckily he was there, cause no one else was. Driving his car was so weird. First of all, most of his key is broken off in the ignition, so I had to figure that out; his turn signal doesn't work, and he doesn't have a sit belt. Not to mention that it was snowing and traffic was crazy. I got there a couple of minutes late, but it was no big deal. And I got the job! Woo! A whole month and a half of trying to get an interview finally paid off! After I left there I went and took my urine test. Not worried about that of course.
Got back to the room and pretty much had to turn around and go look at an apartment complex with Bethany, Elizabeth, and Dawn. We went to Campus Park and I am totally in love with it! I walked out of there feeling really excited about it and wanting to sign a lease right away. But I think everyone else wants to keep looking, especially for a house.
After that, Bethany and I jumped my car and took it to walmart. Its funny that 2 weeks ago, the mechanics at walmart in Ponca said there was nothing wrong with the battery, only that I had a loose cable. And then the guy that checked it here said it was completely bad and that I needed a new one. So we got that replaced. What's up with my battery only lasting for 1 year? Oh well. At least we got it figured out and hopefully I won't have to worry about it for awhile.
My ethics class is cancelled tomorrow! YAY! I get to sleep in an extra hour and get a longer break before my last class. This is so cool. haha
So yeah, today has been way crazy, but at least everything turned out great!

| I haven't written on this thing for almost a month. Not sure why. I look at it probably everyday and tell myself that I should make an entry, and yet I never would. And of course now that I am writing, I don't really have much to say. Hmm maybe I should make it a goal to write everyday like I used to. Maybe it would make my life seem more interesting. haha
Chase is coming to town tomorrow. Hopefully we will get some good raquetball playing time in. I also need to go to spin class tomorrow. I am sooo sick of it being cold. When is Spring finally going to come? I'm ready to walk to class without having to bundle up and I want to start wearing flip flops again. It sucks when some of your outfits only look good with flip flops because your other shoes just don't look as good.
Classes are going good. Pretty easy so far. Except I really don't care for biomedical ethics. Shouldn't have taken that as a humanities. Oh well.
This is probably the first year in which I'm not looking forward to Valentine's Day. Seems like I usually had a special someone to spend it with. And now I don't. Why do I have to hate being single? Most people would just embrace it and as you could say "live it up". But for me, it just makes me sad and lonely. I guess I just love the thought of someone loving me and me loving someone too much. Wow that was a lot of the word "love" in that sentence. Its especially hard when all of your friends have a boyfriend/girlfriend and there are some weekends when you are the only one in this place that doesn't have someone to share a bed with.
Gahhhh ok I've gotta stop talking about it so I don't start to cry.
Lent is coming up. Crap. Have absolutely no clue what to do for it. Any ideas? In the past I've refrained from afternoon snacks, pop, any sort of drink besides milk and water, and chocolate. Chocolate was the hardest. Don't really want to do that one again. haha Maybe I should do something like make sure to have at least 1 serving of fruit everyday. I don't know. But I guess if you've got any ideas, let me know.
