| May 23rd, 2008Chinese ADRs are continuing to sink. Probably buy in a couple of days or weeks. Oil continues its price rise. I have oil futures, bought at around 120$, options are expiring in end of summer. This helps hedge against any commuting I'm doing this summer. Some good earnings announcements. I probably want to short them since I expect high oil prices to hurt the market's advance. Berkshire Hathaway is also cheap. A string of bad news about Hathaway has depressed its price. I still wouldn't invest in it even though it would be a good idea, I'm looking for potentially higher returns elsewhere. Oil drilling/exploration companies strong. Refineries are also doing unusually well. Weekly return: $-2500 |
