Sentimental JourneyCurrent mood: nostalgic
My two years here at Butler have been quite an experience. They have been a blast, and at the same time, introduced me to unbelieveable stress and grief. I am sad to say that I have lost some friends since I got here. But I am happy to say that I have made so many more. The sad times were many, and my health has suffered some for this lifestyle, but I would never say that I regretted it because in the process I have earned a degree, acquired skills, and most of all, met new, wonderful people. I have to say that what I'm going to miss the most about this place is all of you. I know this is typical and corny, but it's true. I feel like I have established a sort of second family that I hope to keep for a very long time. While I am looking forward to my adventure at Drake next year, I am heartbroken to think that I might not get to see you guys in a very very long time, if ever again. I'm going to miss you terribly. No matter what happens, please please keep in contact with me! And I wish you all the best in the years to come! I hope you will come to cherish this place as I have and leave with something to show for yourself, proving your value to your worried family and your worth to the world. My departing advice to you would be as follows:
1) Always consult your heart and your closest friends before making big decisions.
2) Always do what makes you happy and successful no matter what others say.
3) Read your bible, eat your vegetables, wash behind your ears, etc.
4) Take some time out for yourself when you need it.
5) Always try to be there for your friends when they need you because you never know when you might need them.
6) Always remember your worth and that you are loved by many.
7) Never leave someone you care about without telling them how you feel.
And on that note, I think I will close with this: I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!! ~Dani |
