These days, I haven't been watching MTV as often as I used to (since they stopped playing music videos), but once in a while I tune in to see what crazy reality shows people keep talking about. So they've been doing this thing where they pick an artist for a week and play some video clips in between segments of their TV shows. I can't remember what I was watching, but the artist they were buzzing about this week was Testament!!!
Maybe this wasn't the first metal band they showcased for this artist of the week thing, but it was the first one I noticed. When was the last time this channel gave metal any airplay? When Avenged Sevenfold got the number one spot on TRL? When Metallica was featured as Icons?
