ELDER YOREL1 COMES HOME

Yep. The day is upon us. Elder Yorel1 concludes his two year mission and flys home from Arizona. Only problem is, his home was Ohio when he left, and now home is in Utah. So is that "going home?"

Mr. and Mrs. Yorel will pick him up at the Salt Lake City airport tomorrow and take him out to lunch. Any suggestions?

AND FROM ELDER YOREL4 WE READ...

I finally have another American companion. I love Brazil and what not, but I was ready for an American companion, I´ve been with Brazilians since February. He´s been out 3 months more than I have. I´m also the district leader. You´ll probably be getting a letter about that soon enough. It´s weird to think that I´m the leader. It´s really weird to think that I´m going to be doing baptismal interviews. I´m going to watch one on friday, do one with a zone leader next week, and then I´m on my own... I´ve got a completly different vision than my last companion (who was the DL) had, and I´ve already talked with the zone leaders, and alot is going to change, and it´s going to be great. I´m excited. We´re also talking about maybe doing something really cool. We´re going to talk with the (mission) president and see if we can´t open a new city. There are a few cities around here that don´t have the church, and I think it´d be really cool to open a new city.

(He also reported on several recent and upcoming baptisms. The teaching is going well.)
