The ski trip was fun. I am getting much better at skiing than I used to be. The only time I fell it didn't even have anything to do with skiing. Michelle asked me if I could hold the door open for her, so I stopped and fell. Other than that, I was pretty proud of myself. Haha. Anyway, it was a good trip, although I am glad to be back home. God definity kept us safe on our way up. It was getting kind of scary once we got into the mountains becasue it was night, snowing, and ice covered roads. Not to mention that if we were to slide on ice, we would have literally fallen off the side of the mountain...no exageration. After I got off of the ski lift at a certain spot, I was on the very top of this mountain. I looked out and I promise you I saw the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen in my real life. The sky was blue, what fluffy clouds, and you could see for miles, which showed snow-capped mountains for as far as you could see. I could have stayed there all day to look at it. I got my camera out to take a picture, and it said my battery was depleted. I was very disappointed, but at least I have the picutre in my memory. It was truly a time where I stood in awe of God's creation. That is about all I have for now. ~ Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God.

-Talking with very good friends totally makes my whole week.

Things are so different from before. Practically everything's changed...not necessarily all bad, not all good. But God is good.

awe-filled moments

Ahh, I am feeling very good. It is Friday...need I say more? Today was an S.S.R. day. I was reading a book and it said that true servants of God wear red. This is because they are always on their knees praying, therefore, their knees get bloody from praying so much. As I read this, I looked down, and out of all the days of the year that I don't wear red (pretty much every day), today was the day that I was wearing it. I found this kind of funny. I was like, "God, are you trying to tell me something?" ...yes. This reminds me of a few years ago during a Bible Study/ worship time. While we were worshipping, I randomly flipped my Bible open. I opened it to Psalm 41:10 which says, "Be still and know that I am God." About one minute later Jessi stopped worshipping and read Psalm 41:10. I sat there in amazement. I really had no doubt what God wanted me to know then. It is times like those that you know God is speaking directly to you.

Ah, the weekened. I'm suppose to go to the football game tonight with one of my friends. I've never been to one of our games...ever. Maybe I better go to at least one before I graduate , but I'm awfully tired, so I don't think i feel like going. Much has happened since I've been on here. I got my hair cut...short. It feels really good. I donated it to Locks of Love. I have a new job babysitting 3 year olds. I'm doing cadet teaching, which I am very excited about. Today I had a little girl tell me that she liked my name and then asked me if I could be their teacher forever...that alwasy makes you feel good . I have a lot of homework to do, but I feel more like plopping down and not doing anything school related right now. Well, God loves you, and for that reason please don't ignore Him.

Yesterday Crystal and I went tubing. Once again I am extremely sore! The lake was so choppy that it made for very fun tubing. There were a few times that I flew up and I thought for sure that I was going to fall off, but I managed to stay on. I am starting my senior year the day  after tomorrow. I don't know what I feel about that.
