My Beaver Tale

I got chased by a beaver last night.  I was walking at by Lake Katherine, and there were two beavers swimming in the water.  After we followed them along the bank for a while, one of them came out and started lumbering toward me.  I think I was maybe too close to its dam, I'm not sure, but he puffed out his fur and stood up taller and started to make his way toward me.  After I took a few steps back, he walked on to his next tree and started knawing at the bark.  Yup, that's my beaver story.

Sooo...it's been awhile.  Rather than try to figure out what to catch up on, because that would require more thinking than I'm currently capable of at this time of night, I'll just focus on the last couple days.

My suite got a sweet couch yesterday.  I like it, although I haven't spent much time on it as of yet.  Plus, with the new furniture addition, it's as though we gained a living room in the process.  I'm happy - it's more homey and cozy.  You should come see it sometime :).

I got to see my brother Matthew and his girlfriend Heidi today.  That was nice - it's the first family member I've seen in two months.  It still kinda weirds me out when I think that there really isn't a single person out here who's known me for more than two years.  I like my family (and other people from back home), so it was definitely a good thing to visit.  It's nice to think I'll get to see  him again in a couple weeks for Thanksgiving :).

Huh?

It snowed today.  October 12.  Summer hasn't been officially over for a month yet.  Fall barely started.  Did I mention that it's October 12?  Seriously...

I like Reading Weekend.  In general, shorter weeks seem to breeze by.  I'm tired, so I think I'll sleep now - and I don't have a class to wake up for .

Here's one of my favorite 'would you rathers':  Would you rather be invisible or have the ability to fly?

September 18...two years later...woah

Well, it's been awhile since my last post.  A fair amount has happened, which I guess I could've expected, seeing as I moved back to school and such.  It's been a busy semester so far, with lots of school work, playing softball a bunch, working, etc.

Other than that, yeah.  We had a softball tournament this weekend, which went pretty well.  There are lots of new people this year, so that's kinda interesting.

Today was a good day.  It's been a good two years.
