I'm frazzled, exhausted, and lethargic, but mainly I AM DONE FOR THE SEMESTER!!! Woot! I've been working my ass off for the last week, but I've also found some really fun things to share with everyone.
Monday The Good: I can't think of anything good that happened on Monday. I don't even remember Monday. I think it was a myth. The Bad: Nearly forgetting to add my citations to our power point presentation on Social Networking (anyone want to hear my speech about MySpace, Flickr, and Facebook?) The Hilarious: Steve Jobs presents the iRack.
Tuesday The Good: My part presentation goes really well. The Bad: One girl in my group totally pulls some stuff out of her ass, which contridicts what I researched so I need to basically correct her misconceptions in front of everyone. The Awesome: An exerpt from Jessica Vallenti's new book, which causes me to special order it from the IU Bookstore (I got a gift certificate there for helping someone with a survey). Money Quote - "

Wednesday The Good: I finish my annotated book list and hand the damn thing in. The Bad: Someone does the exact same topic as me, so our lists are about 80% similar. Then we both use an image from Blankets by Craig Thompson to illustrate it with a watermark behind the text. Thankfully we pick different images. Oh and mine looks better. The Suck: Someone at work steals my yogurt! And I had my initials written on it - ok carved into the foil top with my fingernail, but they were visable!

You suck. I hope you die" to the staff refrigerator. Bunch of savages
in this town....
Thursday The Good: I start my new job with Serials Recieving. Everyone seems really nice, the work isn't that hard, and I am hopeful for the summer. The Bad: After starting my new job, I work at the Lilly and at the Lab, pulling an 11 hour work day at all three jobs. And I say good bye to my pipefitters. The Awesome: Di loves me so much that she brings me dinner (Arbys - we had coupons) and sits with me at the lab for about an hour while I eat it and we talk. Then when she picks me up from work at 9, she brings Saffie in the car.
Friday The Good: My last class is done! And the SLIS end of year picnic means FREE LUNCH!! (And stealing an extra cookie for later) The Bad: Actually, nothing bad has happened yet. This is a significant milestone. I guess its kinda cold outside... The Awesome: For my last class of "Materials for Children and Young Adults" we listen to children's music, including a song about "Godfry the sickly unemployed amateur children's musician" who pulls things out of his large trench coat and eats from the school dumpsters. This must be heard to be believed. Listen to the clip of track 5 on Amazon. The Freaking Awesome: We're seeing Aida tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
