| | I feel like I've been so busy the last few weeks that I am only now coming up for air. My summer semester is finally over, but class starts again in two weeks. This week will be spent putzing around and enjoying doing nothing. On Friday we head up to Kenosha, then it is Saturday through Saturday in Green Bay, and leaving from Kenosha on Sunday. Monday I'll have class. And I am just so excited, it is not even funny.
I have learned in the last two months that I'm not much for 10 hour days, so I'm hoping to minimize my freak out factor by only having 8 hour days. I'm excited for one of my fall classes, dreading the other, and still trying to come up with my independent study pitch. And I took a third job, working as a GA for my adviser (mostly making pdf's and putting them online).
Diana and I celebrated our one year of living together this weekend by using our $50 to the Olive Garden -- it is just me, or has their menu gone downhill? I used to get the seafood ravioli and it was awesome, but they took it off the menu. I also got this frozen lemonaid thing and it tasted like some kind of weird mix chemical taste, rather then real lemons. Di couldn't find a desert she wanted and we sat next to the kitchen door. But the company was wonderful.
Mostly, I have done nothing for the last 48 hours and it has been wonderful. No papers hanging over my head, no nothing. Just me spending some quality time with my girl. So far it is really nice. |
