| | It has not been couple of good days to be Sarah.
On Monday I dropped my engagement ring off with Zales. You know, cuz I only had it a day before a stone FRIGGIN FELL OUT!!! And speaking of engagements, when I told my mom, she said "Oh that's nice" and promptly changed the subject. Yeah, really feeling the love. Sometimes I hate my mom. Not really, but kinda. Oh she did buy me an interview dress shirt when I was home. Which I will NOT be wearing to any interviews anytime soon because....
Naperville sent me an email saying I can't apply for any jobs with them until after I have my MLS. I get it in about 14 days. This is stupid. They have my transcripts, they see I will graduate. Are they really gonna interview me and start me in less then 14 days? No. I wish they would have said so in the job posting instead of asking for transcripts in a way which made me think that pending graduates were welcome.
The copy of AutoCad 2002 which I obtained from Joe to use with my independent study doesn't work. Now I have 9 days to learn how to use the vastly different 2007 edition, which is only in one campus lab. <sarcasm> I have a fun weekend ahead of me </sarcasm>
We had a kerfluffe at the GLBT where the front office was mad that I took measurements and stood on their chair but it turned out they really weren't mad and it was a big drama over nothing. That was a waste of 2 hours of my time, half of which I spent in tears. One of my co workers is pressuring me to get therapy, which I admit I need but now is not the time for this.
Speaking of tears, I've cried 7 times in the last 48 hours. Ok, two of those were during Extreme Home Makeover, but I'm severely stressed and hormonal right now. Not of the good.
We may have overbooked the number of relatives that can stay at our apartment during graduation. Now we have to fit an additional 5 people in here. Yikes!
Aidrien is sneezing all over and all the time. I'm hoping it is just dust since we moved the furniture, but the last thing I need is a sick cat right now.
I have three huge projects, including a presentation on Friday with a group member who is just about the stupidest person I have ever met. Ever. And she is in charge of the powerpoint. Oh joy, oh rapture.
Still have to start researching the literature review portion of my 15 page paper due on Monday.
The house is a mess. Laundry from two weeks ago still needs to be hung up, the kitchen looks like a disaster zone (and Tuesdays brown rice fiasco is still stuck to the pan). I also need to sew the pillow which I had to wash the case of back together. That means I need to clean out the office enough to fit a chair in front of my sewing machine.
On the plus side, Diana helped me with my project last night (by being my library experiment guniea pig) and took me out for ice cream after. But still, I am not having a good week.
