| | So I've always had a teeny tiny itty bitty bit of asthma. Like if asthma was a ladder, I wasn't even on the bottom rung, I was just standing on the ground with one foot in the air. It would flair up randomly, usually when I had bad allergies or that one time I was climbing a small mountain in Cyprus. But after having seen doctor yesterday for the monster chest cold that doesn't end, he thinks it is only getting worse. He had me blow into this thing, which basically shows that normal breath amount should be in the 480's and I'm blowing a 350. At least I finally know for sure what is wrong with me. My last doctor did a piss poor job of explaining it.
So now I am she of the inhaler girl. Yes, now I will have to puff on this thing 4 times a day until... well until some other doctor tells me to stop basically. He thinks that the asthma is what is causing this cold to linger so hard. And now I have fun drugs, one with extra Sudafed to keep me bouncing off the walls and one with Vicodin so I can feel all heavy and fall over like a lumpy rock. Yea.
Thankfully I got an extension on my final project, or else I would be in full on panic mode. Right now, I'm just in going over my notes and typing it up slowly mode. One day at a time. I'm done with classes on Friday and when I turn this paper in on Monday, I will officially be done with grad school. Thank fucking god.
Meanwhile I have applied for a full time gig in Elmhurst IL and I'm still waiting to hear back from the Twin Cities. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
