10 great things about today

11 (Bonus).  We redeemed our credit card points for a Red Lobster gift card, so sometime in the next 72 hours I will be enjoying all you can friggin eat crab legs.  MMmmmmmmm *drool*

10.  I slept through the night, no coughing fits at 3 am.  Thats a first in almost a week.

9. I finally found my other pair of jeans that have been missing since we got home from Thanksgiving.  They were folded on their shelf in the closet.  Who the hell put them there?!?!?!

8. I am sipping a big glass of Simply Orange OJ and eating my All Natural Kozy Shack Tapioca Pudding right now.  So so good.

7. Di and I wrapped Christmas gifts last night (well those we had).  I love wrapping Christmas gifts.  It fills me with an un-name-able joy.

6.  I actually went in to the GLBTSSS today, and got started on the Hispanic book list I've be meaning to start.  When I'm done, I want to have someone translate it all in Spanish for me, noting which books are in English, which are in Spanish, and which are in Spanglish.  Doug and Carol think this is a great idea.

5.  Ellie told Doug and Carol that she liked my presentation last Friday.  It is always good when people tell you that you have done well, but when they tell other people, it really means something.

4. Diana got up earlier then she needed to, so she could drive me to the GLBTSSS so I wouldn't have to stand out in the cold and wait for a bus.  I really really appreciate that.

3.  I have a ton of ideas of what to write for this Alice project.  I can't guarantee that she will like it, but I've reached a point where I don't much care.  All I can do is the best I can do.  And the best I can do at following the guidelines I put forth in my independent study, so if she nails me on anything else, it can't count against me for grades.

2. I got my ring back this week.  Every time I look at it, I'm happy.  Just simply happy.

1. Today was my last day of school.  Ever.  Forever Ever.  Done.  I feel oddly at peace and oddly nervous about this fact.  No more classes, no more books.  Well, there will still be plenty of books, but they will be books *I* want to read.  As my Visual Bookshelf on Facebook can attest, I have dozens of them.  And with no homework in the evenings, I can read them ALL.
