You know,  John Kerry had a lot going against him from the start of his campaign. His "liberal voting record" and his stance against the Vietnam war are just a couple of things that come to mind. So he may have lost this uphill battle to unseat Bush but I have to say, John Kerry has balls.

Basically it seems like John Kerry is going to take this fight to the Senate when the new session begins in January and I say we need to be there with him. I'm sure there are a lot of pundits who are going to say that Kerry should just move on or that he can't possibly accomplish anything because he lost and that will hang over him. Well, maybe that's the political thing to do. To view this campaign as something with a clear start and a clear finish.

Are you finished? I'm sure as hell not finished.

I see this very simply: Kerry is a good person who has always tried to do the right thing and now realizes that it would be foolish to throw away what we all have helped to create over this past year. So sign the petition and "be there" with Kerry, cause I didn't give away my life to John Kerry, I gave it away to what he's fighting for and if he still wants to fight for it then I'll still be there.

...but not before I point out something about the "Abortion Non-Discrimination Act (ANDA)" This bill would allow any doctor, or health care institution  the ability to refuse to provide or even refer an abortion to a woman for any reason. We need to make sure we don't just quietly allow women's rights to be set back 30 years. Please visit www.ppaction.org and see what you can do.

Reading about politics makes me sick lately so I'm going to take a hiatus.

This government needs to stop distributing abortion "information" which basically tells women that if they get an abortion, they will eventually get breast cancer. This is a lie.

One more example of how the religious right will sacrifice truth and fact on their crusade to cleanse our country.

Just to articulate what my job was over the course of the campaign, here are the margins of victory for each congressional district in Minnesota. Minneapolis is the 5th, St Paul is the 4th.

1st - Bush  by 12,000 votes

2nd - Bush by 34,000 votes

3rd - Bush by 11,000 votes

4th - Kerry by 82,000 votes

5th - Kerry by 145,000 votes

6th - Bush by 55,000 votes

7th - Bush by 40,000 votes

8th - Kerry by 24,000 votes
