Memorieeeees haha but anyway theres plenty of stuff going on lately, whether or not I give a rats ass about most of it is beside the question. BAGRAM AIRBASE, AFGHANISTAN KANDAHAR AIRFIELD/FIREBASE GECKO, AFGHANISTAN BALAD AIRBASE/CAMP ANACONDA, IRAQ AL TAJI ARMY AIRFIELD/FORWARD OPERATING BASE GUNNER, IRAQ BAGHDAD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT/CAMP GRIFFON, IRAQ It felt really great to get reaquainted with an old friend that I hadnt seen since I left the Air Force. I missed her so much I almost forgot what it was like being around her. Anyway here she is. It's part of my job's sponsored refresher course in marksmanship for all personnel who will operate in hostile countries. The threat posed to military contractors in Iraq has proved deadly in the past but they're taking steps to familiarize us and prepare us for any possible danger we may encounter in hostile countries like Iraq or Afghanistan. Anyway here's a picture of my baby... Oh shit…. Just when you thought it was over he comes right back and enters some shit in this hole of a thing called a xanga. Whats really good people? Its been a busy busy month or two since I last posted in here. First and foremost I started college and only 14 more months till I get my associate’s degree. I also got a new job as an intern for the military contracting company Dynacorp fixing military aircraft. Hey its better than your average job making $26 an hour. That’s right 26 bucks to work on military aircraft, if its flying Im probably gonna work on it one time or another. What the job is actually is Im working for a military contractor company fixing helicopters and airplanes for the United States armed forces making sure theyre battle ready and at an effective operational level. Whether it be patching up holes in aircraft returning from Iraq or Afghanistan or working on a fuel and hydraulic systems there's very little Im not able to do on an aircraft. I’ve gotten offered job assignments across the world for when I graduate college from places like Edwards AFB, Wanna shout out But with the territory of being engaged you take on a whole other set of everything problems, feelings, beefs etc etc. Dealing with her ex boyfriends that wanna talk like theyre superman till they get Roy Jones’d you know the drill, dudes running their mouths on some shit theyre not capable of. Its some of the most hilarious stuff in the world but I aint worried about it. Something about my fiancée’s family attracts ghosts. Some people may think its bullshit there’s no such thing as ghosts but Im here to say yes there are. Alright first of all there’s her house, the previous owner that lived in the house, her husband was in the Army and he was killed in a military aircraft crash following the 1991 Persian Gulf War. Her mom has always felt his presence in the house hes not harmful he’s just watchful. I could feel his presence too but a while ago me and Krystal were dancing and her mom took a picture and she caught the infamous ghostly “orbs” and the outline of a man in the picture. Also when we went to an old Civil War battlefield I was taking some pictures in the cemetery part of the field, I have a picture of a row of tombstones and in the center of the tombstones is a shadow soldier sitting on horseback watching us. but beside that everything is cool. Dynacrop is one of the best places I've ever thought of working especially for the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. I mean I get good hours and benefits doing a job I love doing which is working around military aircraft. I get paid good money I make about twice as much as I did being an enlisted soldier in the Armed Forces and because were military contracted we operate along their guidelines so when theyre off Im off heh heh gotta love military contracts. 
School is great North Central is such a relaxed school I wish high school was like this. Im currently taking my aircraft drawings and materials & processing courses right now. My teachers are cool as hell most of them are Vietnam War vets and they always have plenty of interesting war stories to tell so Im always interested. 
Good luck to my friend SPC. John Etuale getting ready to head to Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan in September, it's going to take some getting used to adjusting to the climate and your surroundings but I have faith you'll return to the states a successful and achieved person heh who knows you'll probably be closer to pinning on your Sergeant stripes. But moving on Im trying to make the decision on which extreme is worst the cold or the heat. Why am I making that decision you may ask? Because the extreme climates of both Afghanistan and Iraq are taking a huge toll on aircraft engines in both countries. Helicopter engines are struggling to operate in the thinness of the air in Afghanistan's mountaineous terrain and they're struggling to operate in the sandy conditions of Iraq. The demand for military contracted Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMT)s is great in those areas of operations and I also got a job offer from the Iraqi Interim Government teaching Iraqi technicians how to repair aircraft engines on the first of their new Iraqi Army Air Corps equipment. Its really a pain in the ass trying to clean the fine sand of the Arabian desert from the compressor blades of a helicopter engine.. 
The pay would be good going overseas but still I have to chose whether I would want to end up at Bagram or Kandahar Air Bases in Afghanistan or Balad, Al Taji Airbases or Baghdad International Airport in Iraq.
