| IncompetenceThe do-nothing Republican led Kansas Legislature is now making employees work on a Saturday, for the first time in 10-plus years! This is a new low for Speaker Melvin Neufeld (R-Ingalls). The only thing he cares about is polluting our state until kingdom come with those stupid coal plants near Holcomb. This issue has taken far too much time, but for Neufeld and his cronies this comes as nothing new. This idiot (Neufeld) needs to do what he does best, Farming and leave the Kansas Legislature as he has turned it into the laughing stock of the world! Neufeld is the reason why we need to elect a Democratic majority in the Kansas Legislature.
I'm done!

| My endorsement for PresidentI will also post this on Facebook via a new note.
Many of you are probably asking the question, who has Ryan endorsed as President? Here is your answer, nobody. I disagree with all of the candidates on one issue or another. I will share my reasons a little later in this blog. One thing is clear, the Republicans are in shambles and they probably (99.99% sure) don't even deserve to be elected. I will list some issues and the candidate that I found on CNN's profile of the candidates.
Immigration- either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton: I liked what both had to say on this issue. We have to have an organized way of knowing who is here, while enforcing our laws and being compassionate to people as well which should be an American value, but isn't under George W. Bush (slug man).
Iraq War- Barack Obama. It was a mistake to even go into Iraq. There were no weapons of mass destruction, Iraq has distracted us from the war in Afghanistan and al-Qaeda is even stronger now than they were in 2001.
Health Care- Barack Obama. I don't agree with mandated (also called universal) health care coverage, but what we need to do is significantly reduce the costs and get rid of the pre-existing condition which insurance companies rule the roost. Insuring people until the age of 25 is simply the right thing to do.
Death Penalty- I really don't agree with any of the candidates on the death penalty.
Abortion- I'm probably closest to John McCain, but I even disagree with him on some of the circumstances.
So now here comes my endorsement....still waiting....oh wait its not coming.
The Democrat that thinks Independently.

| Tragedy. As you all probably know by now the events in Virginia have impacted many lives. These horrific acts makes allows us to reflect on what is really important in life and how fragile life really is. A college classroom is supposed to be a place of safety and a place to discuss issues openly without fear. I think it is appropriate to send our sympathies to the Va. Tech community. We can't blame God for this, but we can ask God, "why did you allow this to happen?" I too find myself asking this question, but also, I find myself also asking, "why do we continue our involvement in Iraq where over 3,300 Americans and over 100,000 Iraqis have been killed?" I consider the Virginia Tech massacre a monumental tragedy, and I also find it tragic that there is no end to the tragedy called Iraq. The Democrat. | | |
| How can the vice president say such a thing? Democrats don't support the troops. How insulting. I have family members over in Iraq fighting in this illegal war and for the Vice President to say that Democrats don't support the troops is a low blow. I think Cheney has now set a new low. Of course, he can say what the heck he wants because none of his family is over there. I can tell you...Democrats do support the Troops, but we don't support failed policy after failed policy. In my mind, the President is a murderer of over 3,000 Americans. Democrats support life while it seems that the 3 stooges (Bush, Cheney, and Rice) just want to bring this world to the brink of destruction. Democrats aren't defeatists when 2 out of every 3 Americans think the President has a failed policy. The last president to have an approval rating as low as Bush's resigned from office! The 3 stooges are deliberately breaking the law and getting away with it because of Rethuglicans. The Democrat. | | |
