| | I've been super busy.
I worked a 16 hour day Saturday. Started at 4am for a wedding party and didn't get home until 8pm from a fashion show benefiting the American Cancer Society. Exhausted hardly describes how I felt.
One of the bridesmaids was a spitting image of Sandra Oh. And one of the models was a Lucy Lu. That was pretty neat.
The wedding job was pretty cool as the bridal party gave the makeup artist & hairstylist a hotel room so my cousin and I spent the night there. It's so nice waking up and not having to drive in the middle of the night! Too bad we had to work so early the next morning or else we would have painted the town red. Maybe next time.
The fashion show was at an estate in Atherton, CA (read = mansion). From where I was standing there was a swimming pool AND a tennis court in the backyard. It was a lot like the Desperate Housewives show I worked before except this one was thrown by Asian folks. I tried looking for a young potential husband but no luck. It was mostly older women decked out in diamonds there to buy more diamonds. I wonder if they would have considered adopting me as honorary grand daughter or something. Maybe next time.
Well, that's about it. I'm back n Davis back in summer school. It's not so bad except I just got a 0/3 on my first pop quiz.
No giving up. Must go on : )
