high school is finally over and speaking for the class of '06 thank god.
it's weird, maybe it's just for the moment but i can't really remember
the things i actually learned in class but i know it and i just keep
focusing in on the memories and gatherings i had this year with people.
most definitely i had several laughs with my friends and also a lot of
tears i didn't show to people this year but i did have tears. i keep
looking through the yearbook and all the signatures and messages you
guys left me and all the fun times we had flash by in my head. sorry to
sound sappy but i guess it's a given, afterall we graduated and we're
on different paths but we'll probably meet again in cancun, new york,
lol tokyo or cali.
so i turned 18 and right off the bat i had more responsibility and
access to more things. lol i bought my first lottery ticket, did my
very first drive unsupervised to go paintball in a "restricted" field
upstate, applied for my own credit card so i can finally stop asking my
folks for money and i had to kick my butt out the door to find a job
lol.
With all this free time this summer i decided to have some indepth
reflection and make some plans...well trying to plan out what i'll be
up to for the next year or so. currently i am engulfed in about 3 art
pieces at one time trying to make up for the lost time and get my
portfolio going. i've just been spending a lot of time with myself
wondering about what i should really do with myself. lately when i've
been walking through manhattan i realized that new york isn't the same.
it just seems like the city is degenerating. i know it's not everywhere
in the city but it spreads and travels. whatever happened to the good
old days when people weren't afraid of going out and coming back home
at 11 or 12 at night? when kids didn't have to run away from a public
park because someone got shot? when people didn't have to jump off
buildings because money didn't matter to them?
people have their own problems and situations going on but they don't
have to involve other people, especially people they don't know and
drag them down with them.
everyone keeps asking me what have you been up to tony tan? i haven't
seen you in awhile. i've been pulling myself together, strengthening
family ties, having my personal time to reflect, doing my art work,
uh...besides that i haven't been really hanging out much, lol and you
guys think i'm always busy, you just catch me at the worst times lol.
maybe a year away from home will change things. so i've been trying to
see what amtrak had to offer me lol. traveling from san fran by amtrak
is pretty cool actually. now that i got my class schedule with a 3 day
weekend i can probably go down to la and visit my friends there or up
to sacremento and stockton so i won't be that lonely. i still have to
shop for some stuff, mainly bathroom and hygiene stuff. i really can't
buy stuff until the school sends me my roommate and room number. kind
of pointless if me and my roommate brought 2 fans or 2 tv's.
on another note, there will be a hot import night car event in flushing
at shea stadium on aug 12th. hin nightshift flyers and discounts can be
acquired by me so just call me or leave a comment. oh and tell your
friends about it too.
and here are a few pic's to update you guys:

prom night was cool hanging with my homie jacek

over at my cousin's place in jersey celebrating my birthday early with my grandma shoving fruit in my mouth

graduation day...it was happy yet sad at the same time.

age, me, amanda, winson, cody holding his brother jaden, my brother
