| | I have no idea what Xanga is doing. But it's weird. Are they trying to be Facebook or MySpace or something? Maybe the people who use Xanga do so because they find it preferable to those other sites. And now what? Goodbye, blogocentric webpages. Goodbye, custom color themes. Goodbye, individuality of design.
Whatever. Good thing it doesn't matter, like, at all.
Had a good St. Patrick's Day yesterday. We went out to the Blind Tiger to hear Jesse's parents' band play, and they were wonderful. Afterwards we had about a half-dozen people over to the house to drink Irish car bombs, which are both chemically intriguing and effectively mind-altering. And this morning, my boss called and said I didn't have to work. So I slept until noon. It rocked.
Joseph Charles Dixwell Wheeler III called me last night, as well. He is still serving in Afghanistan, so there was a huge lag on the line. But he says he's doing well, and by a strange coincidence of social circumstance, knows Miguel. So that was a "small world" moment. I was very pleased to hear from him. He says "hi" to everyone here that he knows. You know who you are.
