I'm now on face book. I'm updating for the sake of my friends in Peru who actually still use Xanga. I'm hoping that they keep better track of their english than I do of my spanish because my spanish is almost gone. I'm in an area with many hispanics so it is used... just sparingly and barely. I've been in seminary for a year. All is well. I'm studying for my BA with a concentration on Bibl and a minor in History of Ideas. My current plan is to eventually have my doctorate, though that is far away. It was interesting today, because statistically a persons ministry is most effective durring the age of 50-70... and I'll probably have my doctorate by that time... kidding, maybe. Anyways. I'm probably going to New Orleigns this summer to help out with disaster relief. I'm also hoping to go to Mexico to do mission work with the Native Aztec Indians there... buts that's merely a hope right now. Anyways, all is well.

Austin

Monday, June 12, 2006

Daniel Cabaellero!
Tu utilizas su email?? Mande tu mandas email, pero tu no contestas a
mi email? Por que solo Xanga? jejeje. En la semana pasada, era
emocional y bueno. Quiero decir a tu de todos... pero solo en email.
Dije los cuentos acerca de tu a un amigo. Estamos oraramos por tu
mucho. Dices mi en email! Okay, bye. Hola por Juana, Arturo, y Tigre
(leo).

God is so amazing btw. I can't even begin to describe. This last week
has been like a roller coaster but it's been amazing. Like- a little of
the worse week of my life, and the best week of my life... maybe, I'd
have to think about that one, but it was pretty good. Anyways... ya,
that's all.

“ [ For the director of music. A psalm of David. ] The heavens declare
the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after
day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge.

I have yet to go to graduation and get my diploma... but it's over. THANK YOU GOD. It's been for-ev-er. Now... time for, college! Excitement. I'm requesting for my dorm tommorrow. I've already had alot of fun this week. I saw Roper with Ryan (whitley) and Michael (sanders), good movie. It's funny... probably for the wrong reasons, lol. I saw the Da Vinci Code. Good story... really blasphemous and untrue... but good movie. I just hope they don't show that movie in other countries or else they may kill me over there, "Ah Christian conspiracy! Die now you fiend!" Anyways, hope that doesn't happen, we'll just have for pray for that. So, I'm car shopping. We're selling and switching cars around which is always fun... hobby of my parents I believe. I think I'm going for a standard this time. There is this nice Sports Edition '03 focus that I'm looking at and it's already tricked out and everything, inside and out. I think that's what I'm going for. I'm also looking at some eclipses and a camero... maybe no the camero. I'm looking for a car 'used' around 10 thousand, two door and very sports ed. The only place I'm gonna find this stuff is online, I've already found alot, but I have to w8 untill we sell some of our cars first. I kinda want a Mazda RX8... but that's a tad our of my price range. I'm seeing the midnight showing of X-Men 3 tonight. That's gonna be cool... I'm pumped! I went to dino valley today with friends... I'm red and quite the crispy person. This new song is for Joni... cause she whines alot, jk jk... but ya. God bless.

I'm way excited. The band is gonna have a cool
performance @ church wed. night, I'm excited. Ryan (Whitley) may have
surgery this week... poor guy, lolololololololol. I got myself some new
kicks yesterday... first pair of shoes I've ever bought on my own. I'm
getting so grown up :) and I got some cool shirts @ goodwill. Mmmk, so
I'm ready to graduate. College is gonna be rock'n. Go order prom pics
online, they're really cheap. I got some. It was some random pic that I
don't remember having taken... but apparently some one took it. It's of
me, Stori, Steph, and Eric standing in line for food (I can tell, I can
see the hunger in my eyes, hehe). Got Stori a copy (you're welcome). My
mom has been asking 9999999 questions about prom. My answers are: ya,
uh hu, w/e, yes ma'm, naw, kinda, sure, mmmk, idk, and ect. I believe
she's frustrated. What did she want me to do, video tape the thing?...
it wouldn't surprise me if the answer to that was yes.
May you see the blessings of Christ every day.

[Life Through the Spirit ] Therefore, there is now no condemnation
for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law
of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. - Romans 8:1-2 <--- I wonder if this verse can get me out of my speeding ticket.
Sunday, May 07, 2006

Prom was pretty awsome. I had an amazing time, I came home @ six in
the morning after Project Celebration and slept till about 2 in the
afternoon. I didn't win anything :( oh well. Life isn't going so hot
right now, it just isn't. It's one of those times where you look at
life and say: Life isn't Fair. Normally I look at life, think of grace,
and I'm glad that life isn't fair... but not right now, it's killing
me. Bleh, work keeps having me come in more and more early every day,
I'm thinking we're going to loose our manager (score!) she's kinda
shady. Pray for the trip to Chile for the youth group in the summer.
Alot of the kids need help with the money, a few kids are coming who I
didn't think would come. It'll be a good experience for them, hopefully
life-changing; so keep praying for that.

“ Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. ”- 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
I have to look at this verse in the face... even considering the fact
that I'm not so happy with God right now (ya when people get frustrated
we always blame it on God even when it's our own fault).
Here we are at the beginning of a new week. For many people, Monday
represents the start of another monotonous cycle of work. Maybe it's a
mountain of washing and ironing, an endless quota of parts from a
machine, the same dull routine on the assembly line, or the tedium of
sitting at a computer.

Monotony can be a breeding ground for envy and discontent, or
it can be the training ground for the development of character and a
life of service. It all depends on whether we can see God in the
ordinary duties of life.

There was a woman in Boston who for 40 years did the same
cleaning tasks in the same office building. She was interviewed by a
reporter who asked her how she could stand the monotony of doing the
same thing day in and day out. The woman said, "I don't get bored. I
use cleaning materials that God made. I clean objects that belong to
people God made, and I make life more comfortable for them. My mop is
the hand of God!"

Are you looking for the Creator in your occupation? He's there.
He uses the hands, bodies, and minds of people who accept their tasks
and do their work for Him. Any routine task is relevant to God's work
in and through us—for time and for eternity. —Dennis De Haan

Good Friday? Okay, so it's more than a name.
What is it? Two-thousand years from now (give or take) Christ had hung on the cross for
our sins, our mess-ups. Why? Because he loves us so much and wants to
be with us forever, but, we can't do that because we mess up, we
screw-up, we're sinners. So, in payment for our sins, he sent his only
son to Earth to die. Jesus had lived a perfect life so he could be an
eternal sacrafice for our transgressions. We would never have to make
sacrafices to God again, he made one ultimate one, himself. For that we
should be greatfull, now and forever we can experience the eternal love
of a God so great. One that loves us to no ends. He fought intensly and
prodigeously to save us from ourselfs and the battle still goes on. As
he fights for us we should continue in the fight along side with him
because it will never end untill judgement day. What are you doing to
fight? Wittnessing, praying, reading your Bible, being a Godly example,
spreading the love of Christ. This week remember what week it is, and
continue the fight as you remember that Easter Christ died for our
sins. Satain won't win, I've read the end of the book (Bible). God wins.

"But the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
teaching us, that denying all ungodliness and worldly lusts we should
live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world." Titus 2:11
Tuesday, April 04, 2006

I can't seem to figure out the right order, and the complete version of this ryme.
Remember remember the fith of november? Gunpowder, treason and plot. I
see no reason why gunpowder treason should be forgot... I remember well
the fith of November it's night cold with intentent to unfold a tale
which again and again must be told. (I made up that last part) but upon
further and exstensive research (actually it was really hard to find
the whole poem) I found it!

The night of the fifth of november is closely associated with the popular rhyme which begins:

Remember, remember the fifth of November,

gunpowder, treason and plot,

I see no reason why gunpowder treason

should ever be forgot.

The full rhyme, no longer used, continued:

Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes,

'twas his intent

to blow up the King and the Parliament.

Three score barrels of powder below,

Poor old England to overthrow:

By God's providence he was catch'd

With a dark lantern and burning match.

Holloa boys, holloa boys, make the bells ring.

Holloa boys, holloa boys, God save the King!

Hip hip hoorah!

These verses are usually left off modern day recitations of the poem:

A penny loaf to feed the Pope.

A farthing o' cheese to choke him.

A pint of beer to rinse it down.

A faggot of sticks to burn him.

Burn him in a tub of tar.

Burn him like a blazing star.

Burn his body from his head.

Then we'll say ol' Pope is dead.

Hip hip hoorah!

Hip hip hoorah!

Now wasn't that interesting. I'll give a dollar to the first person that memorizes the whole poem... seriously. A whole dollar.

“ Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith,
who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame,

Uh, I have alot of work but I get off for things I
really need to so that's good. They're doing a youth praise team in
"big church" this sunday so I'll be singing there. That's
semi-exciting. School is bleh. I'm ready to get out. I don't wanna
leave my friends, but I certainly want to leave this classes. State is
coming up soon. I need to practice for that really bad... I don't
expect to do well because I havn't put much effort into it at all, but
the trip will be fun. Church is gonna be cool Wed. night, we're
starting a new series and it's gonna be amazing. I love the topic. I
have a band clinic this week-en, bleh. My dad comes back from work
friday. I gave Greg a ride to Ryan's today, lol, poor guy. He's
grounded from his truck (as he should be). Kids, never get in the car
with a drunk driver, that's just not cool. It's stupid actually (I love
you still Greg just that was dumb). They got in a wreck too. They were
VERY lucky (thank you God). Pray for Mitch, he's been called into the
ministry. He said God's been working on his heart about it, so ya. Yay!
Ministry Mitch. I'm really excited for him. Pray for me, lol, I just
had the first doubts in a long time about college. I just want to make
sure this is the right one God wants for me.

“ [The Armor of God ] Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty
power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand

There are not
enough hours in the day, and it takes to much time to sleep and eat. I
need a rest week (spring break) but work doesn't know I'm taking off
that week... they can deal with it. Comes to find out, I'm working as
much as a full time employe! Jerks, lol. I was told I would only work
friday, saterday, and one week-day... yea right. More like everyday
except wed. This week I switched hours to get thursday off but then I
have to work more saterday. I took thursday off cause Earnest and her
giant paper of death is due. I don't have time for anything, I'm like
falling behind on everything, homework and studying, projects, praying,
Bible time, Church activities... everything except work. They're
underhired right now so I can understand... but once they get things up
to par I'm dropping alot of time. I can't let work take over, I'm not a
work-oholic, in fact, lol, I don't even ever plan on getting a real
corporate job. I'm going to be a missionary, I'm looking forward to
that job. It doesn't even really count because it's what I like to do,
it's what God wants me to do, it's fun, it's more like a life-style,
and plus I get payed for it. Life rocks. I got a planner today... one
that I'll use. I don't use planners! I'm a guy, lol, what is this
about? Saterday I planned on just getting away for a few hours with
God, I had it all planned out. I had this field picked out. Never
happened. I had to get an oil change, open up a new bank acount, blah
blah blah... now that I think of it, that's all a result of work...
grrrrr. I scorn work. It gets me money though but that's about it but at least I'll be able to go to Chile in the summer if I can get off from work
bleh I'll quit if they won't let me go. I got this job for the mission
trip... and for a motorcylce, lol, jk. I got the job for the mission
trip and for college money. I'll need some money to live off of while
I'm looking for a job there. I was going to transfer to a dominos
there... I only will if I don't have to drive. It stresses me out
looking for a place that you don't even know exists within a time
limit. The other night I got a rather large tip. First, this lady
tipped me by check, then she saw my purity ring. She was like: is that
from James Avery (Christian Jewler) I was like: yes. Then her little
kid kept trying to get her to give me his money. Why? I don't know. All
I know is that she accepted her kids money and said: here, this is from
my kid. I was like... 5 from you... 5 from your kid... 10 dollars!
Yesss.
“ [ Praise to the LORD ] O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and
praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous
things, things planned long ago. ”- Isaiah 25:1
