I went skiing yesterday for the first time since I was 16. ALMOST like riding a bike. I could move around ok, turn and stuff... it's just that I couldn't really slow down to well. Which in turn caused more than a couple spills to avoid people hanging out in the MIDDLE OF THE HILL. Having picnics or something, I don't know. The Mountains were beautiful though! I haven't seen this much snow in... well, ever. A few pictures are below... look at them!

So, Yasuko and I had our first bad spellers show thie past weekend in Tokyo. Really awesome! Our friends Panda, no Panda came all the way here from pretty far away and our friend Kate played her really nice accoustic stuff. We set the whole show up... rented the place, promoted, planned the afterparty, etc... so having this thing go over as well or better than we had hoped made us VERY pleased :) Tired too. I still don't think I've recovered from lost sleep. haha. Anyway, there are pictures of that below. Besides that, Yasuko and I took a trip out to Tokyo Disney a few weeks ago... had my work Christmas party this past week... and that's really it. Most of the time we've just been lazy and hanging around instead of going out. Does this mean tat we're old? Probably. Old or not, I'm still losing hair... so there's no getting around that. Have a good time looking at these pictures and have a wonderful day!

Thanksgiving = The Bad Spellers practice and Chinese food!!  the perfect way to celebrate :D

Don't believe the picture... we're really happy!!

Anyway...

I'm thankful for a lot of things this year (and always).  Particularly, that I made it to Tokyo and can finally be with Yasuko.  I had to wait a little longer, go somewhere that I really hadn't planned on going... but after making so many great friends, going so many awesome places, and growing up a bit more... I can't imagine the whole year without it.  Even though there was a lot to put up with (taking longer to move near Yasuko, uber militant war exercises, etc), all of it it made me a better person.  Don't get me wrong, there were a TON of great things too!  See it all below.  I've posted a "short" (this is short, trust me) pictoral from this past year to show my appreciation for it.  Good and bad, it brought me where I am today.  And since I've been here... life has been even more amazing :)

(i apologize that the following pictures are larger)

Finally back in Japan... this time, Tokyo :)

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand that's all for now.  I'm tired!  A lot of the other really important ones between those and now are already on other posts. :)  thanks for looking at all of these!

Yasuko and I went into the mountains the other day to look at leaves.  We didn't get too far up, but we were able to see some really nice scenery and have a relaxing lunch on the rocks :)  Here are a few pictures.
