(/edit) Steamboat at Orchard yesterday night for Brother's Birthday Dinner. Food was pretty good, shopping after tht was better. Happy Birthday Brother! (even though you annoy me most of the times) I like Orchard at night, it's.. Fun. THREE DAYS TO COMPETITION, KILL ME. (/edit) One of the nonsense I wrote which I found. -- I lay on the bed, gripping the white sheets with my hands. Pain surged through my nerves, as I heard another plane land. Needles dug cruelly into my skin, as I silently cried in pain. Yet another day will come, us competing on the same lane. Sometimes life doesn’t make sense, when we compete against Death. When we lose everything, and nothing, no one is left. Screams envelope me, yet all I can think of is Home. Where my family resides; and I’m here, all alone. More people are brought in, bloody, injured and some dead. The sky is turning darker each moment, it is getting late. Then I heard screams and shrill, from the bed next to mine. She grabbed on to the doctor’s hand, she didn’t have much time. Then I thought about Home again, how nice it would be to be there. Playing together like one family, instead, life’s so unfair. I know time is running out, despair ran through me. I wonder why no one tells the truth about war, why no one ever sees. -Huiqi. |
