So,
really, I am not dead. I am still here and VERY alive and busy. The
summer is going well. So well that I am pretty tired by the time is
comes free time to blog. I have been doing stuff nearly everyday with
groups of kids from church. Monday, we did our first Monday Mystery
Trip. We went to see Superman:
The kids had no idea where we were headed and it was a good time. Not a bad turnout either.
We are gearing up for Mission Raleigh. It is very close and I am very excited.
Our summer series is going well. Tomorrow I will talk about Abraham and Authentic Faith even when we are uncomfortable.
Jackson is growing like a weed. He is talking more. He even said I love Daddy and I love Mommy unprompted on Sunday.
We
spent about an hour with some neighbors tonight. It was really nice.
They are believers and just moved to our street a couple of weeks after
we did. I like making new friends!
Tomorrow is Wham-o Wednesday. We are going to the City Museum. Should
be fun. I am having breakfast with one of our college kids tomorrow.
Looking forward to that too. Thursday is our free day and I am going to
have breakfast with my Dad. Sweet.
Kendra is going to Atlanta with her mom and sister for the 4th. Her mom
and sister are complete Braves freaks so they are spending a lot of
money to see them in their home stadium.
Aaron and I will be here with the boy through Sunday. EEK!
Spending the 4th with Michele and Dennis, which is our tradition. Should be fun.
That's about it. Buy but boring!
