Hi. You left a comment on my site about your daughter wanting to study in Belfast. The violence here has passed fortunately but the riots here had been the worst for a few years but it will be resolved and it should definitely not stop your daughter from studying here in Northern Ireland. I do think though if your daughter does come to Northern Ireland she should be aware of the religious divide between Catholics and Protestants and how there are certain areas in which a catholic or protestant would not be welcome. I hope I don't scare your daughter into not coming here but its better to be aware. Recently I had two americans staying with me and they definitely loved it here.  It depends on the course that your daughter would be applying for, for instance in Queen's University of Belfast, the tuition fees range from around $12,000 per academic year.
