xanga seems to be the place for people to express their depressed thoughts. why is that? why is it that we strive to be happy, confident, and successful individuals, and all people ever divulge to the public are their weaknesses? for comfort? to let everyone else know that they are human? it's quite interesting, because rarely do i ever see a post that celebrates life - not literally of course, but when people are doing well, they don't turn to xanga. hahahaha. wow, xanga therefore has therapeutic capabilities.

random thought of the day: i seem to be surrounded by men who are significantly older than me and are still dating college girls ... why are they not dating girls their age? society says, and we believe, that youth is priceless. it seems as though once a girl graduates from college, she is no longer desireable by men! for a girl as young as myself, and who looks even younger, i feel old ... not that it matters, but maybe i'm just having a quarter-life crisis. interesting thought of the day, no?

it's saturday night. i'm 22, and what am i doing? sitting at home writing to xanga. boy, what a loser i am. but for those of you have been desperately waiting to hear, my theory is simple, re: why ugly girls think they are hot. i mean, certainly it is a multi-factor induced psychological problem,but i am only going to talk about the one i think is most prevalent.

Happiness is crucial to human survival. Now, particularly forwomen, what would make them happy? Jewelry, clothes, money,etc? Yes. But women crave attention. I would say the jewelry and clothes are only a secondary happinessbecause it is brought about from having seeked the attention theyoriginally wanted. However, the female species is particularlyprone to being insecure about themselves, and what better way to becontent with themselves other than getting the gratification ofattention from males? (I am of course speaking in generalhere.)

Here's the scenario:a young woman in her college years is getting hooched up to go out tothe bars with her girl friends. Now, why the heck would she getdressed up all slutty-like with that heavy smokey eye-make up unlessshe wanted to make herself bait for all males to jump on? Now imagine this:within the group of girls, let's say there are 5 of them, when guys seethem all out together, of course each one of those girls will be ranked1- 5, hottest to not hot. So let's get into the psychy of the guy- obviously he wants the hottest for himself, but what if he is afraidof being rejected? Or, maybe his game plan is to start talking tothe least attractive one first to make the hottest one jealous, so thatshe will hit on him?! Crazy it seems, but after a few or a dozendrinks, it all makes sense.

Now, too all my guy readers, I am SURE that you are not all like this, but a lot are. When guys go out, their main objective is:ass. And they know exactly how to get it. Any enemy wantsto take down their opponent the easiest way, and this would be toattack their weak spot. For example,if you wanted your child to eat her dinner, you would simply offer adesert as a reward if he/she finished her meal. What was yourobjective? Not to give the child desert, but to havethe child finish dinner. It works the sameway with guys getting ass from girls. When guys sweat at abar/club, it's not perspiration, it's attention! They'reproducing so much of it, it's physically coming out of theirbodies! Okay, so maybe that was a little over the top, but guysstill feed a constand stream of attention to the ladies just so theycan have a happy ending at the end of the night.

Because i'm not an excellent writer, which means i'm notparticularly good at organizing my thoughts, i've probably lost a lot of you by now - congratulations if you have made it to here. I hope you aren't reading this on Saturday night because if you are, thenyou are as much of a loser as me hahahahahaha. Anyway, to conclude, ugly girls think they are hot because of guys. Toreitterate (and really, you could have skipped all that crap up thereand just read this), girls want attention to feel attractive. Guys give it to them because they want to hook up with them. This, of course, takes it to another level - the girl is thinking"wow i must be really hot if he wants to sleep with me." Therefore, once again, it is the man's fault. It is because of hornball guys who make ugly girls think that they are hot.

also, random fact: 's headquarters is located right in my town!!!
