| Lifes waiting to begin. Tonight.
Well, not really. Nothings happening tonight. Those are just the lyrics of The Adventure by Angels & Airwaves.
Quite the inspiring song, if you ask me. I don't say that lightly either. I think that Tom Delonges dream of "changing the world"
with his music may just come true. It may not be an entirely
universal experience - there are always some critics of the inspired -
but Tom has a heads up, being in the music industry for a few years.
Coming from Blink, with it's harsh, life driven lyrics, AVA has a
completely different approach to music. The beat is soft, with an
80's flare (in other words, synth), but also has the distinctive
DeLonge guitar riffs. The vocals are also different from both Box
Car and Blink.
This isn't even what I wanted to talk about. Sidetracked again. Blast!
All I can say is I really can't wait for the AVA album to be
released. It has the potential to revolutionize music as it is
now. It also has the potential to revolutionize people as we know
them. The lyrics are meant to be more than words along to a
beat. I just hope that these dreams are realized.
To just give you a preview with words, here is what an interview generated:
"All the songs are very cinematic, anthemic and epic-sounding. The music
sounds angelic. Every song gives you the chills and you feel like you
want to cry but you're conquering the world at the same time. It sounds
like stadium rock done by a band that's meant to be the absolute
biggest band in the world."
I truely believe that this band does have a chance to become the
biggest band in the world - the most influential if nothing else. Be
sure to check them out once the first song is released sometime in the
coming weeks.

| Wow.
First of all, it's been almost 3 months since I updated this Xanga. Heh, fallen behind haven't I.
Second of all, it's been 373 days since I joined Xanga. And you think they would get it through their thick skulls that I don't really use it enough to join Premium. Heh, they just like money.
All I can really say for myself is that life seems to have finally
shown me a path in which I think I really enjoy. And you'll never
guess it: something that I have despised since I was just a young lad. Music.
Thats right ladies and gentlemen; I'm actually really "finding myself"
through the music I generate. And maybe a path that I can
eventually walk down. But thats quite a while away, in my opinion
at least.
As probably everyone knows, I've finally taken up guitar. Thats
possibly why I'm beginning to like music. A lot of credit also
would have to go to a few good friends who've really pushed me into
liking music a lot more and wanting to get to know about it more.
I really wish that these people would seem to be into it as much as I
feel I am though. It's almost like pulling teeth to get anyone to seem interested in anything I have to say.
But it's all good.
I know I have amazing friends. Not all the local crew
either. I have amazing friends all over the globe. I really
hope they know that every single one of them have touched my life in a very special way. I wouldn't be the person I am today without them.
And as the day grows to a depressing close, and another second ticks off on the ever-ticking clock of life, I wonder what my role is in this world. That will be revealed soon enough, I gather.

technology we have, it still doesn't help all of the time. Thank
goodness it works some of the time. I wouldn't live otherwise.

| It seems that every time I update this sorry excuse for a Xanga, I have
a party to go to. Yes, it's that time again. PART-AY
season. Oh well.
That means Jon is extra tired from now on. And I already have
huge dark circles around my eyes. Thats what I get for going to a
private school.

Well, since I heart her, I'll update.
