being able to wear sneakers to work is pretty awesome (especially with the discount!)

but what's even more awesome is that once a year, I get a glimpse of the hottest japanese guy on the face of this planet when he visits my workplace to get more shoes (aka renew his contract)

yup, that would be ICHIRO!!!

he is so unbelievably good looking in a suit....and so damn skinny. he needs to eat.

hi, see you in about two weeks!

ever since i left the US, i've been craving guacamole like crazy...like CRAZY!

do you know how much guacamole costs at a mexican restaurant here?

"fresh, made at your table, el torito (name of the restaurant) special" guacamole is 1200 yen. according to the picture on the menu, the fist sized mound of guac came with three tortilla chips.

did everyone read that? FIST sized guacamole with THREE chips.

yeah, i was NOT about to pay $10 for that.

so folks, next time i'm back in the US, you better take me to a mexican place with lots of guac and heaps of food for under $5.

the only things that made my night good was the company and the pitcher of pineapple margarita. by the fourth glass, i wasn't even thinking about the absurdity of overpriced guacamole.
