Who am I that you are mindful of me,
That you hear me when I call?
Is it true you are thinking of me?
How you love me -
It's amazing!

I am a friend of God!
I am a friend of God!
I am a friend of God!
He calls me friend.

Big decision coming up: near vs far, familiar vs unfamiliar, expensive vs cheap, apples vs peaches. All I really want to know is the only one that matters, though: His will vs my will. I keep telling God, I'll go wherever He wants me to go. But if he were to answer by asking me what I really want, I don't think I'd know what to say.

Let me just say ahead of time, I am aware of SBS.  Anyways, between the slew of recent engagements and weddings, hearing about life as a father from my cousin Ray (happy 1st birthday, Chloe!), and being on-call for work, I was just imagining how unprepared for fatherhood I am in my current state.  In particular, I think I'd be terrible at waking up and taking care of the baby in the middle of the night.  So I got thinking...imagine if you could put a baby in vibrate mode! You know, just like a cell phone.  If the baby's nearby and you don't want to deal with all the nosie, just use vibrate mode.  Or instead of waking you up by crying, the baby could do a happy ringtone instead.  Hmm, could make for happier parents, but abuse of the vibrate mode could mean child neglect.

Telling the world about things like this definitely won't help me get a girlfriend.

But I can't resist! You know when you wake up and you're really tired?  Sometimes the mundane becomes a challenge.  You might put on socks that don't match, or you might misalign the buttons on your dress shirt, or you might do what I did.  Two days ago, I got dressed in my usual business attire and headed off to work.  Around 11 am, I had to go.  I approached the urinal on the far left side and unzipped.  Reaching down, I did the "sweep" over my crotch, left to right, looking for the opening.  Shucks, missed -- but that's okay, sometimes it's easier to find from one side than the other.  I swept back from right to left.  Nothing.  Hmmm....at this point I was a little confused.  I liberally continued my search, but it was hopeless.  I put on my boxers backwards.  A quick trip to the stall, and things are fine.  But if I were Hansel, I could have fixed it on the spot.
