It's time for a new entry and the first one of the year! I think that i will try to update this thing, once a month or so? I hope. So we will start it out with the new year's resolutions for this year....
1. read 1 book a month...i think i fell waaaaaaaaaaay behind last year
2. run the SF marathon with besto AUGUST 3rd
3. spend some time every week working on my art/ photography
4. make each day more awesome than the last
5. keep working on doing the things that i want to do
6. promise myself to go to the beach once a week
7. start making lunch to bring to the shop... i swear i've gotten tired of all the bentos out here, plus cho takai yo!
8. become a bad ass taiko player
i think 8 is enough for this year. we'll see how far i get with all of em by the end. i hope that everyone had a great holiday, and new years. mine could not have been any better. a week of non stop working at the shop in order to get it ready to open...the whole thing could not have been possible without the awesomely great help of my friends and family. thanks guys. i am truly lucky. xmas with the family, and friends. new years with more friends, guitar hero, rock band...did it all! sorry bout UH uncle...hoooo was so stink dat game.
overall great time, and now i'm ready to take on 2008!

| it's october! crazy! time is flyin by! pretty soon, it will be turkey day and then xmas. two weekends ago, went out for my bday. was quite fun. i had a good time, well all until the ending. i'm sure that you all can just guess what happened at the end. let's see...um...130am...taxi ride...i got to see my dinner all over again...all bad. but before all of that, it was lots of fun. good friends, good times. lots of dancing, somehow i think james found a way to take my shirt. wtf! ah but whatever, all in all it was fun. i'm sure that there was some drama that night, but whatever it's all over now, and i think that just about everyone had a good time. james even danced. crazy! i think it's been about like 4 yrs since i've seen that guy break it down on the dance floor.
i would post some of the pics on here, but i dont have em on this computer at this time. i'll have to find out where the heck they are next time.
in august went camping. that was fun. jon, sherwin, and i went out to some place in auburn. out in the middle of the woods, but it was great. nobody was really around...well minus all the old couples at the camp site, but it was nice.our site was right next to the river. luckily enough, jon and sherwin bought some inflatable lounge things from wal mart. they cruised down the river, but the river was so shallow that they got beat up by all the rocks. we had some good food. steaks the first nite, and then the rest of the meals were sausages,eggs...tortillas. it was nice just chillin out and doin nothing out there. we played cards, played for push ups...first nite i was winning...the second nite i had to do so many push ups it was sick.
so let's see what else has happened...went to the niner game yesterday, and they got the crap kicked out of em. was pretty bad to watch. the defense didn't do that bad, but the freakin offense...they r just not there yet. they barely even made it down to my side of the field. that sucked.

michelle came up for a lil bit. she stayed with me for about a week or so. that was fun. that girl is still the same, crazy, and quirky. if ur readin this otani girl, ganbatte with the kareshi! enkyori ha muzukashi, demo...i'm sure that you guys will be aite.
okay thats it for now. for all of you in jaypan, PLEASE eat some ramen and kaiten sushi for me. yumi, you have to eat some KAPPA KAITEN HYAKUEN SUSHI FOR ME! shinakya dame yo! so when exactly are you comin back to the US yumi?

| okay so it's been quite a while since ive updated this thing. im gonna do it for all of you not livin in the US now....i guess this is a good way for me to remember all the stuff that im doin. so let's see here...i jus had my big taiko concert this past weekend...my whole back was sore, my shoulders hurt...one huge knot! i kid you not! my voice was gone for a lil bit but it's slowly coming back. a lot of it was from yellin at the students when i was teaching on monday. good times. gotta get those students ready to compete out in orlando.
so yeah the taiko concert was tons of fun, pretty hard teh first day cuz we had two shows. that second one was tough cuz we were tired, but at the same time i think that we all got a lil more hyped up for it cuz it was the night show. the sunday show was great too. signing posters was strange.
it's been over a year now since i've been back. it has flown by! waaay crazy. i think that havin this shop has just made the time zoom by. sometimes it feels like japan was a dream. i think that how a lot of people feel sometimes when they get back. i do miss japan, but now i know that i can go back, so it's cool. yumi i hope you're eating all the fujinomiya yakisoba that you can, and i hope that you're eating all the kaiten sushi that you can cuz i really really wanna eat some kaiten sushi! argh! hyakuen sushi to be exact! anyways dont go crazy out there yumi, and when are you going to hawaii again? haha. you gotta learn to play some golf that way we can play right off of your balcony! haha.
so goto i hope that you are enjoying this entry. there's so much that has gone on since i last wrote...hm...i went to hawaii, went camping, went to japan, went to monterey...i've done a lot this past summer. good times. here are a few pics.

| So this year's new year's resolutions....here they go....
1. Continue to read....at least 1 book a month....
2. Use my Japanese
3. Focus more on my art
4. get a full split...like every year
5. make pika pika one of the biggest and baddest stores in all of SF, the US...the WORLD!!!!
6. dont' spend all my time at PIKA PIKA...haha
7. run a marathon...anyone want to join me?
8. last but not least...enjoy everyday!
