Yukko couldn't take Friday off, so we to make changes to our itinerary. Instead of staying overnight at Yufuin with Yukko, I decided to take a day trip there alone. That meant cancelling the reservation made at the mountain-view ryokan. Meh. But the new hotel booked near the beach area in Fukuoka-shi is quite wonderful as well:

Evergreen Marinoa Hotel

 エバーグリーンマリノアホテル

One great thing about this place is that all rooms are ocean front and even the bathrooms are facing the ocean. Awesome!!! My dream came true.

9/11~9/14/08 Kyushu excursion

Hotels and ryokans booked are as follows:

Day1 Fukuoka-shi, Fukuoka: Qurega Tenjin

A boutique hotel located in Tenjin. Really awesome for the price! I'm so excited.

I like that see-through bath room hahah. How embarrassing.

Day2 Yufuin , Oita: Saikakukan

Supposedly has the best views of Yufudake (the mountain you see in the picture) among Yufuin ryokans.

The onsen.

Day3 Aso volcanic mountain, Kumamoto: Yumeoisou

More low-key than the other two I booked, but has private onsen bath outside the room. Yay!

My very first personal LV purchase.

Introducing...the Consptiration GM sunglass.

Ok. I'm broke now. But thankfully, I can pay it off with a no interest, 3-month installment plan.

Ok. I went overboard. But what can I say. I was depressed and being the girly girl I am I needed major, major retail therapy. And guess what. I think I look pretty damn hot in it.

(btw, my LV fave still is the brown most gorgeous wedge I've encountered after all these shopping sprees...all hail Miss. Special someone who not only gave up her wedge but also called me at an odd U.S. hour to cheer me up during a very sad, lonely moment of my life in Seoul.)

Oh. No real point to this entry. Just...a lot of money and soul dropping.

Thank you international phone call. Love you paycheck. And...miss you lots NYC.

Now, if you excuse me I have to go sleep this money burden away.

Hurt me once, shame on you.

Hurt me twice, shame on me.

Lots of shame on me.
