Done and done...

So it's been 3 weeks since the wedding day, and we're already back from our honeymoon. When people say that things go by quickly, I had no idea it would've gone by THAT quick.

Chris and I tied the knot on August 25th and jumped on a plane to Kauai, HI on August 28th, flew over to Maui, HI on August 31st, then hopped on another plane on September 7 back to DC. Everything flew by in a flash, but not quick enough to forget all the things that we did.

Besides lounging on the resort pool and the sandy beaches, we went snorkeling, luauing, jetskiing, parasailing, mud-bugging (ATV's), and climbed a volcanoe (~10,000 feet up) to view the sunrise at 6:00am. We also ate so much food that it was quite depressing to come back home and grocery shop for staple food items :( Regardless, it was a tiring, fun, exciting, and happiest 4 weeks I've had. It's hard to believe that we went from this...

What's next?  Trying to find that perfect house, woohoo!

Bells Are Ringin'

Yes, the wedding bells are starting to sound louder and louder as our August 25 date is closing in.  Okay, well...  we still have 5.5 months, but that can go by quick.  All the planning involved for a wedding definitely took Chris and I by surprise.  We knew it was going to be a lot of work, but not as much as we expected.  And yes, I'll be honest with you, Chris has done most of the work so far.  Although I'll have say that I probably contribute more to the planning than most men =D  At least I'd like to say I do, hehe.  So anyway, it's going to be an outodoor wedding located in Chevy Chase, MD.  The following are some pics of the location.

So here's what we currently have down so far:

Venue...  check
Caterer...  check
Florist...  check
Day of coordinator...  check
Photographer...  check
Wedding dress...  check
Save-the-date...  check
Honeymoon...  appointment on 3/22
Tuxedos...  1/2 check
Bridesmaids dresses...  3/4 check

Some of the things we still need:

Party favors
Hotel rooms
Alcohol distributor
Wedding bands
Wedding cake

I officially graduated from George Washington University!  I decided to walk in the ceremony and then 'hood' myself to look like an Opus Dei member =D

It's About Time

So I am finally graduating! This next coming May will mark the final end to a story that began on September 11, 2002 in Chicago, IL. I submitted my application for graduation a couple days ago and oh, does it feel so good. So what am I going to do now that I am going to graduate? Well, now... let's take it a step at a time :)

...and by the way, it's my sister's birthday today!!!!! Everyone say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Cindy =D
