I Graduated.
It really happened.
Jim Adams gave an amazing sermon.
Sara Welter took us all by storm with the memories of her speech, good and bad, the happy ones, and the tear-jerkers.
Karisa Grizzle's "Family" speech just gave me a warm feeling inside. Then got me to shed a tear when she ended her speech with, "Because I know you are all great people."
Graduation was great. I threw my cap, well launched it. Almost lost it. It flew two rows over and almost into the audience. Now I realize why I am an outfielder, lol.
It's still a little hard to believe that August 18th, I will not be stepping into RWHS, but into a dorm room at MSU.
As an amazing lady once told me, "There's no need to cry and make a fool of yourself. Think of it as this in one chapter of you life coming to a close, and a whole new one just beginning." But yet, you guys no me. I held back most of my tears. Until reflection time, and "I Will Remember You," I was alright. Then I just let it all out, the rest of the ceremony.
After Graduation was extremely odd. We'll just leave it at, "Mike's" and I bonded a little bit, for the first time.
