| So...I haven't posted in ages. I haven't really felt the need to. The only reason I'm posting now is that I am so incredibly bored. I have mono...so there's not much else to do besides sitting at home. I am not living in the dorm at the moment because I don't want to get my friends sick. And I don't want to go to sleep too early for them to handle. So, in my boredness, I'm updating xanga. I'm 19 now. That's pretty fun I guess. In other big news, my mom did not win the WLBT dream home giveaway today. Sara Hendrix of Whitfield, MS was the winner. Congrats, Sara. I am going to Romania in March for a mission trip with BSU. That should be fun. I'm still collecting the funds. I hope mononucleosis does not cause me to miss any meetings. And I didn't even get mono in a cool way, like kissing somebody or drinking a diseased person's drink. I have no clue how I got it. That just drains the fun right out of it.
Here is my new dog, Peanut. Yeah, and he'll never get any bigger than that.

Hopefully by the end of this semester, I'll be able to speak some serious German. I did not plan on continuing my training in German, but some scheduling conflicts forced me to sign back up for the 2nd semester. I guess the only thing left to do is suck it up and always say, "Ja, das baby!" I've been "planning" a trip to Atlanta in May to see Wicked for like 3 months now. Maybe one day I'll actually plan it. And buy tickets. And get a hotel. Until then, I'll keep putting it off.
Well, I'm content. No complaints really. And before I go, here's a reminder to be thankful for each day that we are given.

Goodbye. And have a pleasant tomorrow.
| Is it just me or is this headline from the Mississippi College website a little strange?
"Mississippi College is one of 5 universities in the United States to offer a Masters Degree in Dyslexia"
If you read on, it mentions a degree in "dyslexia therapy."
College, here I come. | | |
| Yeah so there's a Zimmerman Telegram show this coming Friday.
It's at the Methodist Church in the youth room at 7 PM.
There is no charge, and therefore no excuses for not being there.
For those of you who are dying to know more, http://www.zt.milque.com is the answer.
Oh, and come say goodbye to Caleb. He's going to Chattanooga. He'll probably be really upset if you don't show up to see him off.
I guess I'm out of cheap ways to try to get you to come to the show. So have a nice day and I'll see you on Friday.
| I'm back from Chicago. It was a party. I became very good
friends with our bus driver. His name was Al. Al's habits
included running off the road, slamming on brakes and swerving to miss
18 wheelers, and demanding food receipts from the older guys so he
could "turn them into his company and get more money." Oh yeah,
and he was late all the freakin time. No really, it was fun
though.
So I get back, and Katie leaves for the beach. Real cool,
huh? Yeah, that's what I said. I guess it is selfish
for me to want her to stay here. I did leave her here for a week
while I partied in Chicago. She leaves tomorrow and will be back
on Thursday. I'll be counting down the days.
I am writing this on my new laptop. It is a Sony Vaio and I am
enjoying it very much. It is seriously rockin.
Yessss. I also just read about Joseph Craven narrowly surviving a
golf cart accident at Twin Lakes. Dang, I really need all the
members of Zimmerman Telegram to get back alive before the end of
summer. Come on guys, make it happen.
Dance Dance Revolution is taking over the world. And I'm completely okay with that.
Enjoy your summer.
EDIT: Some work is being done to the Zimmerman Telegram website,
so I guess I'll put up a link so somebody can check it out.

| Summatime.
Lately it's been wild nights at the Magers' residence. Fun is being had by all. Choir Tour starts on Sunday. I find it comical that the trip is from Sunday to Friday and we only have to sing on the first day of the trip. So basically, we are going to St. Louis and Chicago for the heck of it.
My job search has had some bright spots, but those currently seem to be fading. I will continue my quest, however. Oh yeah, and my hair is all gone. Another semi-buzz cut. It seems to suit me.
I am once again becoming a video game nerd. I thought I had escaped this fate several years ago, but lately, my X Box has stayed in my trunk and when we are all sitting around with nothing to do I often find myself saying, "Hey, I have my X Box in my car." Four hours and 15 rounds of Halo multiplayer later, I'm unplugging everything and heading home. What am I coming to?
Well, I guess that's the news for now. Note to self: See Matt Stuart before Choir Tour. It's been too freakin long.
Keep it real. | | |
