  • Carrie and I went to a Reformation ball on the 31st.  There were more small children at this dance than any other I've been to.  Since the rules prohibit a young man from dancing with a young lady more than twice without her father's permission, I was very quick to introduce Carrie as my sister.  Since Carrie and I didn't know any of the unattached people there - we danced together the entire night.

    So... We heard things like, "Are these your children?", and to Carrie, "I saw your man over there."  UGH!

    So my question is why do people often misidentify siblings as a married couple? 

    This rarely happens with those that are dating/courting - perhaps due to a certain air in these relationships that makes it apparent the individuals aren't married?

    The 2nd annual Walk for Life to benefit the women and children of our
    community is quickly approaching!

    The Walk for Life is May 31st at 9am.

    Thank you so for your part in making last year's Walk for Life a
    success! Your contribution made a huge difference!

    We also need volunteers the day of the walk to help us get all those
    walkers registered! To learn how you can help make the walk a success

    Last we had over 215 walkers! With your help, we are aiming for 300 this year.

    Remember your efforts are giving women the resources they need to
    build a bright future for themselves and their children. I look
    forward to participating with each of you in the Walk for Life this
    year and can't wait to see what God does through His people!
