| turkey dayYeah, I haven't posted in a while, i"ve been busy getting ready for deployment. So.....yeah. I'm leaving pretty soon, so don't expect any posts for a while. happy thanksgiving everyone. | | |
| NiceWent to Pittsburgh to see my brother, and had to watch the Penguins lose 5-1....very sad. nice drive though. Rural New York is very pretty. Today I took the DLAB to see if i qualify to be a linguist. Results come back around the first. feel free to cross some fingers for me everyone I got new laptop. Which is terrible. Having the internet right in my room is totally destroying my productivity. not cool. i have to take my Business Law final and turn in Quiz 4 by this sunday, and haven't even started on the quiz. damn me. but it's all good. October is flying by, no? can't wait for some eggnog. | | |
| decisions, decisionsah yes, to be young and have all the options in the world. the only downside to making a decision is knowing that you'll never see how your life would have been had you traveled the other paths. sort of like a reality "choose your own adventure" book. except i can't skip to the end and figure out the best way to go! speaking of going, what happened to september? someone wake Green Day up, because that month ended, count them, four days ago, and it seems like it just happened. scandalous. | | |
| hmmmi'm starting to think the old saying "don't sweat the small stuff" is correct. i mean, i look at things currently going on, and i almost have to laugh. I went into my English Lit class not worried one bit, and I've aced everything, I got a 100% on my final essay, no issue. On the other hand, I went into Business Law thinking "this is gonna suck" and well, it has sucked. Seems to me, a change of attitude is in order. I need it to graduate, and I don't plan on doing it twice, so I need to get it done. That kind of removes the stress. It is what it is, just a simple college class. Today was just a pleasant day. I love my command. It is so good to me. I wish everyone in life caught the breaks I have. | | |
| HmmmAmerican Lit final was total cake. I ate it up without issue. This could be my first college class I get a 100% or higher in! Business Law felt alright....the essays took a lot out, but I am sure I passed. I think I might have even gotten a B. Guess we'll see! | | |
