Au Revoir

I'm not going to write in this thing anymore. You can keep updated on my life if you want through my website: www.tiffany-lo.com. Shameless plug. Visit it. Hear and see my work that I have put countless hours into.

It's been fun!

Hello to anyone who still reads this. Long time no post, and who knows... this might be the last one?

Obviously a lot happens in 5 1/2 months

So far 2008 has been good (and drama free... yay!). March has been super busy, but fun. The weekends have been packed along with school every other day during the week.

I think April will be relatively relaxed in terms of school, but I'm going to try and keep myself busy with projects to prepare for graduation and all. I've got two bands I'm scheduled to record now, which I'm excited about. I have one this Friday and one mid-April, Bears! Bears! Bears!, which is a friend's friend's band, and Winterbirds.

April also means Spring Break and I'm going to New York to visit Jenn and then back to South Pas! I'm also scheduled to do another photo shoot and those are the only big things I can think of for now.

This year has been moving pretty quickly, which means that graduation is getting closer and closer. Scary, yet exciting. I'll be done with classes in late June and the graduation ceremony is in mid July. At the moment, I'm planning on moving back to So.Cal in late July to look for a job. There are more studios down there for me to potentially work at. I'd like to stay up here cause I have a lot of friends here, but I'd also like to go back home, and I can't be in two places at once! I've always said that I'll go where the job calls, so that's ultimately the deciding factor.

Anyways, I'm going to finish this up with some pictures and a plug for my website.

Some recently uploaded photos (from my website):

In terms of music, I've especially worked closely with two bands, Matter ('Far') and Atama (2nd, 3rd, and 4th song). You can listen to the songs I worked on on their Myspace or on my website.

Check out my website, www.Tiffany-Lo.com, for songs from bands I've worked with, blogs, photos, etc.

Have a good one folks.

Long time no update! Almost three months. So much went on in between the last update in late July and now, late October. I lot of BAD things actually. I won't get into it cause it's such a long story and I'm pretty tired of telling it. Let's just say I have never been around such scumbags. That's that, and 'that' is in the past!

On to bigger and better things. Life is good right now. I'm giddy and excited about a few things. We can discuss in details at another time You know how they say "it's not how you start, but how you finish it?" Well this month is a good example. It's only the 18th, but it seems like things are going to end on a good note. After all the crap at the beginning of this month, things are starting to settle down.

I used to print all my pictures and put them into albums, but I haven't done that in 1.5 years!! That's a long time. So gradually I've been going through my photo CDs picking out which ones I want to print. I'm scared to see the price, but it's alright.

Looking at the pictures has made me nostalgic. I've had a lot of good times over the last 1.5 years. I'm nine months from graduating and it all seems so scary! I don't want to be in school forever, but I don't want to leave. I love this carefree lifestyle where I can just do what I want for the most part. Haha. I enjoy the people I've met here, and I don't want to leave them I know I'll miss it when it's over, but all good things must come to an end.

Here are some of the wonderful pictures that I have yet to print!

Jason wearing my jacket and glove slapping Ron in the face... one late night at school!

Perfect place, perfect time... with the English class!

Ian and Jimmy. Another late, random night at school.

Chicago for my sister's med school graduation.

Some good ol' fun playing.. I don't know what it was called...

Freaking hilarious man!

Oh, Emeryville. 1/3rd of the size of South Pas. Most of the picture is of Berkeley anyways haha.

Watching the meteor shower LATE at night.

Madeline music video crew

Lia, Joya, Travis, and I

December dinner at Charlie's Trio

Almost the original Ikea crew I began with. John's goodbye dinner.

Reunion up north when Grace, Tiff, and Brandon came to visit!

Cameron, Erik, and Adrian helping me with the Smith Point recording session.

Lee, Ian, Rob, and Travis playing some Labor Day baseball.

Junn, new roommate, Charly, and I at the Sutro bath ruins in San Francisco.

Very recent picture of my classmates working hard in lab! Haha. That's Don, Shaun, Arnel, and Denise.

That's not even half of the pictures. Maybe I'll update another time with another blast from the past! So long for now. Take care.

Things are.....

...lookin' up. For the first time in awhile, I feel like things are heading in some direction, and not just any direction. A good, exciting direction.

1. I've been doing a lot of recording sessions at school, and it's a real confidence builder. I know a lot more than I think I do.

2. I recorded a band that was good enough to get one of their songs onto ONE TREE HILL. That's pretty awesome.

3. I had my 3rd recording session yesterday and it was almost flawless (third's a charm). Everything sounded really good and went smoothly.

4. I have the opportunity to record a band's full length cd. Record and mix it. I asked a friend to partner up with me, so I am really excited for it. It's a really great opportunity and experience for us. The band is really excited too which makes it more fun. I'm gonna go see them play a show tonight.

5. I got a part time job photography youth sports leagues. You know those portraits and team photos... stuff like that. It's weekends only and I can essentially pick when I want to work. This company photographs all over the Bay Area, but all the events take place early in the morning (not that cool...). However, I'm excited to explore the area and meet new people. Hopefully it will be awesome!

I HAVE SUMMER BREAK SATURDAY, AUGUST 4TH TO SUNDAY, AUGUST 12TH. LET'S HANG OUT!!!

So this is about the 50th time I'll say this, but I bought a small video camera a month ago and decided it would be a fun idea to film at least one thing every day for a month. I have Week One and Week Two up so far. It's interesting and boring at times.... but there they are:

Enjoy.

Week One: Part I

About that time....

... to update. It's been more than a month, and let me tell you, a lot happened since I last updated. I won't get into all of it since it wasn't very pleasant...

I'm not exactly sure where things are going. Things are hectic but somewhat blasé. I could've never seen these last 10 months playing out the way that they have. I almost had to find a new place to live. I've lost touch with someone I once considered to be a good friend only to find out this friend was a selfish liar underneath. I got lost in the shuffle that was trying to maintain work, school, and a social life. I lost my best friend, my dog. And now I've lost my Grandpa.

I'm not exactly sure how to feel about that. I was emotional after I got the news, but it wasn't like Rocky. Yes, there was a language barrier, and no, I wasn't close with my Grandpa, but he's family. I think about it every once in awhile. Never thought I'd have to deal with two deaths in less than a year. Growing up hasn't been all that fun lately. It only gets harder as you get older, but I know things will work out eventually. This is just a ditch that I'm stuck in. Seems like I'm just staring up waiting for someone to help me out instead of trying to get out myself... but I'll find a way out.

Not everything has been terrible. An old friend has reappeared once again, and I'm glad he's back. I'm starting to invest more time into my future career path. I'm trying to start making deeper connections with friends. And I'm trying to steer things into a new direction.......?
