| well, i graduated.... . well, went through the ceremony. i still wont really feel like im done until i have my diploma in my hands, haha. gotta clear up a few things with the registrar's cus they cant seem to figure out that i dont have any more concert attendance left. im not to worried though, cus ive spoken with both Dr. Bankhead and Dr. Card, and i know this little problem is all the registrar's confusion.
dont know if ill get the Teacher/grad assistant position next year...i hear its not likely though because they dont have a lot of available positions. which means ill need to go out and get a job....a real job i mean...as in not a part time, minimum wage job, but a i-have-a-degree-pay-me-salary-with-insurance-fulltime kinda job....kinda makes me nervous. and i hope ill be able to keep teaching. and that whatever job i get wont interfere with gigging.....
any suggestions? (for the job i mean).
oh, and for those of you i havent told, my future plans are to enter grad school at sam houston in the fall and go for my masters in music theory/composition, so ill prolly be around a bit longer, haha.

| i went to jolly fox's craw fish fest today. i was lured in by the sounds of a zydeco band that was playing. i love some good zydeco, haha, reminds me of new orleans and louisiana in general. i think im gonna try to make the huntsville folk fest tomorrow. ive lived here for about 6 years and have never been...
lets see...what else... went to see last great assualt play friday with Britta. it was fun, but its really hard for me to see a band play and not be able to go up and play myself, haha. especially when its rock. the after party was pretty crazy. drove out to the boondocks and got drunk in some dude's trailor. i got to play guitar hero for the first time. its so bazare to play a song on that game that i can actually play in real life, haha. not quite the same if you've ever wondered, haha. all in all is was a good night though
hmmm....thats all i can think of right now.....
