| Once again, I strike it very lucky. If I sit in a certain chair in my kitchen, I once again have a free open wireless network. The only bad thing is that I need to take my laptop to school everyday until they can get my computer fixed, so I have to figure out the sweet spot every day when I come home.
Today was my first day at school. It was pretty good. The choir room is really unorganized. I had no clue where to start them, so I did some stuff that I would normally do in a General Music classroom. That seemed to work pretty well, so I think I'll do it again tomorrow with the A day classes.
I'm pretty sure that I'll be in Parkersburg this weekend, so if any of you want to get together, just let me know. I'm still a little poor, but I'd love to see you.

| *Random Thought #1* I'm
moving back home, for the holidays only, on Wednesday. I still have
yet to find a place to live in Clay, but I'm sure I'll be taken care of
somehow. I still don't know how much I'll be getting paid or how long
the contract is going to be, but I think I will be okay.
*Random Thought #2* I think
I'm going skiing this week with my brother and sister. This will
definitely be an interesting trip. I've never actually been skiing.
I've stayed at a ski resort, but I didn't ski because I was there to
perform and everyone thought I would be the one to get hurt. So I just
watched everyone else and spent a lot of time in the outdoor hot tubs.
*Random Thought #3* I'm
also supposed to sing a duet with my church pastor at the Christmas Eve
service. I'm not really sure how that is supposed to work without
practicing it first. I guess I'll have to get ahold of him when I get
home.

| I have now graduated. I
am having a big party this Saturday. We haven't decided where it is
going to be yet, but I'll let the rest of you know soon. We are also
celebrating Amber's end of life before her internship. If anyone else
wants to celebrate something with us, just let me know.
*update*
I just got a call from Callie. We may also be celebrating Callie and
Jon's wedding which has been set for June 10, 2006. I'm extra excited
because she asked if Amber and I could sing a duet. Yay!
I'll try to post before the party, but if I don't, I'll see you there!
** Update**
We didn't have a party, but congrats on everyone's happy times.

| I found this today by some very odd coincidence. It really kind
of ticks me off. It is a statement made by the dude helping
Travis, WHS's Field Commander.
"Then I found out that Travis now has to take orders from this
student teacher who is teaching the wrong way to conduct. He improved
so much when I worked with him, and now everything we worked hard for
will be for nothing. The pattern she's enforcing and the marking time
won't work on the judges."
I would just like to state for all of your enjoyment that Travis won
1st place at the competition after I started giving my input. I'm
not saying that it was because of me that he won, he did that all on
his own, but my input had an affect. Plus, as I was told, the
judge actually commented on the marking time and seemed to like it.
If the "dude" would ever read this, I would like him to know just a few
things about me and my "wrong way" of conducting. Every person
that I have helped with conducting, they won just about every
competition. And those that I did help, well, they add up to more than just a
few. If I suck so bad, why was I the drum major in college for
three years? Oh yeah, one last thing, let's count the high school
competitions I won first place and then let's count your's. How
about it? Up for the challenge?
