| one and a half months i know i haven't updated in ages. work can be busy and hectic at times but it isn't too tough. normally there is 1 day in a week where i have to stay up till 3am. on good days, i can leave at 6pm. on normal days i leave at 7:30pm. but the problem is, i've been sick for 4 weeks now. seriously ill. i dun have asthma but i have to use an asthma inhaler. went to the er and was diagnosed with bronchitis. got better and then worse then better and now worse again. a fellow trainee in the same room as mine is also sick. she even went to the doc 4 times and had a fever for 2 weeks. i seriously think there's sth wrong with our room's feng shui... special thanks to ah gor's get well card  . and thanks for the parcel from LL ...but i'll have to wait a bit before i can eat the chocolate, coz i'm coughing like crazy at the moment... |

| work...well, no work yet but... so it's been 1 week. 5 days of induction, huge business lunches with various partners, cocktails and socialising. now i'm finally back in my room which i share with 2 other trainees. it's a saturday morning when i would be in bed if not for work. but the view is superb, i face a big window which completely overlooks legco, chater garden and statue square, if i look diagonally to my right i can see the star ferry pier and to my left is the cfa and cheung kong centre. absolutely lovely. especially when the sun sets. i forgot to bring things to decorate my desk this morning given the fact that i had to bring my civil procedure notes to work. an associate told me to familiarise myself with the practice directions now that i'm in the dispute resolution group. i still haven't started. rather, i've decided to buy a photodisplay. and i've chosen which mobile phone i'd get my sis once i get my salary. and my dad left me a voice msg saying he has ordered a set of golf clubs to rip me off at Christmas. there goes my salary... |

panasonic...argh
i thought panasonic mobile phones were good. or maybe it's just me and my bad luck. at least i'm still within the warranty period. but that just goes to show how quickly my phone started to malfunction.
this should be a good excuse to start looking for a new phone...
