  • update

it has been quite awhile. We are currently in the middle of renovating a farmhouse so that we can move in within a month. The fall semester has started again. I am finally taking photography classes, which I love. Here are some pics of the house in progress. We have gotten much further since these pictures were taken.

    It's Coming

I am finally in the last stint of the semester. Considering how poorly I did last time I was at LU, my grades are amazing. I am actually a little shocked myself. Brett & I went as chaperones with our church's youth group to ATF. It was definitely a whole new experience. I was taught patience and understanding. I was told as a joke that I was not allowed to sign up for anything else that involved Teen Mania. It was awesome to see how it worked on each teen's heart over the weekend.

Brett & I are still playing house. We have added on to our family by adopting a puppy from someone at our church. She is the sweetest thing. It is absolutely true that having a puppy is extremely close to have a baby in the house. She keeps me company when Brett works late. I am posting some pics of things that have been going on lately. Hope you enjoy.

This is a little boy that was at my niece's bday party. This is one of my favorite pictures that I have taken.

I had to actually draw this picture for my class. It turned out to be a little harder than I wanted it to be. I will post a portfolio soon.

A little update. I went back to school in January. I love it. I just had my Spring assessment for the art department. I think it went well. This decides whether I can stay in the program. Brett & I are doing well. There is nothing really exciting going on, just life. It is my spring break this week and it is beautiful. I couldn't have asked for better weather. I have included some random pictures from the past few months. One is Christmas, Camping in the fall, and one sad, small picture from the Flyleaf concert in the fall.

It's been a while. So in the last month we have done a ton of stuff.

We moved into a new house in Prince George. I love it (even though I am still not unpacked). I just have the office to get straight. I have all of my art in this one room which I am filled with joy every time I walk in. I am also in the process of setting up my darkroom. I have also decided to go back to school at Longwood. I am switching majors to concentrate on photography. I just received word that I may quite possibly qualify for a grant. Which is wonderful in my case because money is the reason I left last time. This opportunity is going to open so many doors.

And on the side note....My niece has learned about knock knock jokes. I never thought I could laugh that hard. One of the best jokes you will ever hear may actually come from a three year old.

    Little update:

After a lot of drama we are moving again. We did move into a larger apartment only to be kicked out a week later. It has nothing to do with us but a simple paper mistake. I believe it is for the better though. We are moving into a house in two weeks. It is a wonderful three bedroom house near where I lived during high school. It has been a little mad around here. I will post pics of the house after the move.
