Namhae Island

I recently took a weekend trip to Namhae Island with AdventureKorea, to a small fishing village of about 150 people. We brought up the population by about 30% with two buses full of people. I had a great time and it was a welcome change of pace from Seoul.

One of several that were caught. Some of the guys were encouraged to bite off the legs right after they were pulled out of the nets. I like to eat octopus and all, but that looks disgusting.

Last Day of the Semester

Tooling one of my Junior High students in the arm-wrestling tournament which I of course won

This is "The Corner" which is normally reserved for 4th -5th graders who repeatedly misbehave. It's meant to both shame and discipline. This student however is a special case, the only 7th grader to ever receive the punishment. Sometimes, i'll have everyone point and laugh for added humilation.
