No where near the best year of my life....

Just a very small update...letting you all know that today roughly marks the day My Beloved and I have been together for a year.....

I can honestly say...that without one ounce of doubt in my mind and heart...it has by far and wide...been the best year of my life....

The amazing thing is....it only gets better....especially....especially with him by my side, holding my hand and showing his and His love for me.

These are no where near the best years of our lives....

...but right now...they certainly are the best so far....

Midterm, Midnight, and My Man

Attention All: It is officially midterm time for the colleges....that's the official marker in my brain saying "you're a quarter there!". I'm 1/4 of the way through my senior year at SUNY Canton. Keep on chugging....and with that...a little over a week ago, there was a prayer walk on our campus and whilst we were wandering I realized something about our dear little campus: it is so very beautiful...especially in the autumn. Another thing I realized was that I was walking on land I'd never been on before! There were areas of campus that Katie and I turned to one another and said "I've never ever been here before....wow".

With all of the school work I've also had a huge shift in my sleeping patterns that is such a wonderful change. I was always....always....a huge night owl...there was a portion (as in months and months and months) of my life were I do not think that I went to bed BEFORE midnight....now...if I make it to midnight it's nearly a miracle. I'm generally in bed by 10 or so and I like it that way...last semester I was having serious sleep deprivation issues....cianora to that! Amen!

My man has made a couple trips up to the North Country this fall to see me :) That boy is a magnificent...through and through...he fervently, passionately and proactively pursues me. He has changed so much since I met him (exactly 2 years ago earlier this month!)....and as he wrote me in an email today..."Look to the future expectantly....yes, expectantly...."

... :D yes we are expectantly looking together

and....I'd like to give a wonderful shout out to the beautiful wonderful friend of ours that we give credit for "throwing" us together that fateful night two years ago to introduce us: Adriene "Yenta the Matchmaker" Daniels

Laura R.N.

As many of you have also had the privilege of meeting or even seeing this person...

and very simply...I just wanted to let y'all know that there are a few things I need to say

I love this girl, I am thankful for her, I am humbled to have her in my life because its only by God that she is even here sharing life on this earth with me, I am built up EVERY time I see and talk with her, I completely relax in her presence, I always know I'm getting the 'real deal' with her....she....

Laura Fox is a miracle in my life...every time she mentions in a honest and questioning way as to why the Lord brought her up here for school....I am screaming inside my head "ME!....you are a miracle to...me."

sic em bears!

The New Little Ones

Cali's Kittens

Kittens! Now almost a week old...and as you can see by the orange kitten, their eyes are ALREADY open! All of them...the average time that that marker usually takes is 2-3 weeks before they open...and they were 5 days old when they were peeping their big big beautiful eyes upon their surroundings. I hear them literally night and day...more night than day because that's when I'm home the most and I've found that there really isn't more than a few minutes where it is completely silent because one of them is always meowing, whining or whimpering.

But boooooyy oh boy do the Thomas kids adore them :)

Wow...really? I had no idea

Have you ever had moments when talking to someone so close to you when they told you (or you tell them) something about themself or about you and all you/they could say was..."wow...really? I had no idea."

It seemed like these past few days have been full of those moments.
