| Oh I wish... I wish you a happy lunch
I have been sick for a week and so I haven't posted anything... until now! Last night I went to the COLDPLAY concert and had a lot of fun! I miss so many people I do not see anymore and simple saying just take me back and make me smile. So this week I have work and work and looking for another job.... and oh yeah it's my birthday on Wednesday. So that should be fun, the BIG 23. But on Friday I will finally get the track for Jesus, Take the Wheel by Carrie Underwood. And I am really excited about that because I love that song and want to sing it in church very soon. Oh another funny story... so I was looking for a song to sig for yesterday and I had looked at many and was thinking I may not find one. But then Dan brought one to me and guess what... it was perfect. I loved singing it and it went over very well at church Sunday. So I have been thinking even though I may not be Catholic (although my mom's side of the family is, so I guess I kinda am) I'm trying to think of what to give up for Lent. Fat Tuesday is tomorrow so I only have one more day to think and decide. Any ideas? Fast food would save a lot of money, how about myspace... no I don't do that verywell now, what about laughing.. like that would work. I'm stuck, maybe a good night sleep would help. Well so long for now, I taped the Bachelor and now am going to watch it and see who has stolen Travis' heart (at least I think his name is Travis), Mmmm...kkkkk out! | | |
| Last weekend was the Royal Rumble and Dan and I went to the Movie Tavern to watch it. I was a little hesitant to go but went because you never know when you will have fun. I have to say I have never before seen such a great idea. The Movie Tavern serves you food during the watching of the program or movie. So instead of going out to eat and then to a movie, you can just go to the Movie Tavern and kill two birds with one stone. In other news I finally got my engagement ring and wedding band sauttered together. Now they don't move around. I am excited about this weekend because I get to go out of town and celebrate my friend's 21st birthday. It will be great! That's all for now. | | |
| This past weekend, Dan and I went to a very special wedding! It was a moment I would not have missed for all the tea in China. Two of our very closest friends pledged to be joined together for life. I was so emotional at the wedding and every time I looked at Kara I just wanted to cry because she was so beautiful there was no earthly way to describe it but to cry. Going to a wedding after you are married just makes you that much more aware of how lovely and selfless your love for your spouse is. Although I was exaccuasted when we got back home. But it was all worth it to help a couple that are so close to my heart and to share in a day so special for them.
I think my eye sight is going and so my doctor is going to talk to me either tomorrow or Friday to see if I can go on medication to stop the deteriation of my sight. Please prey for me and my doctors during this time. I will keep you updated! | | |
| So today I went and took my driving test.... and guess what?! I passed and now I can drive and legally! FINALLY, it took long enough. Tonight Dan and I are going to his work's Christmas dinner. We are going to a place that seems really fancy! IN the describition of this place, it says it is a place that James Bond would been seen in. Plus get this the price is $40 to $60 a plate! WOW!! Plus Dan and I both got generous Christmas bonuses. But the best news is that I got my driver's license. Not to toot my own horn but I am very proud of myself. We are watching Swing Kids right now and it is getting pretty sad but is a very good movie. And if I don't get to say so later, "MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!" | | |
| On Friday I tried to go and get my driver's lincense. But they were not taking road tests because it was too icy on the roads. It is so funny because there was very little ice on the roads. So this Friday I will go and take my road test and since my permit expires that day I will either get my Texas license or get a new permit. Hopefully I will get my license. I know I am ready for it, just pray that the roads aren't too icy. HaHa! In other news, my sister is engaged! Christmas is coming and I'm excited. Although I would like snow for Christmas. Oh well be thankful for what you have right? RIGHT!
My two close friends are getting married soon and then I will see snow in Chicago. Plus I get to see two hearts join together. <tissue> On Sunday noght I watched It's A Wonderful Life all the way through for the first time. I know everyone has seen that movie but I have finally joined the ranks in that group. I really liked it, you know black and white movies are not really my thing but I really enjoyed this one. Plus we went to Pump It Up! for Wesley's birthday. It was fun because I got to play on inflatable toys like a child. I had a blast! Dan and I took a Christmas picture and here it is.
