So if its been a really long time since I edited this give me a comment and tell me to edit my interests/expertise.

| My fortune at dinner at SAGA tonight: That special someone loves to see the light in your eyes apparently i have a special someone. it really made me laugh.
Today 2 of my classes were canceled. Then I accidentally distracted myself during the crucial get-out-the-door-time for my first class. So I only went to one class today. And we had a test, so I was only in there like 45 minutes MAX. So Lindsay and I got the hell outta Dodge. And it was beautiful. And then I came home, took a warm shower, and ate a cupcake. now i'm checking e-mail, listening to Dave Matthews and about to go to a concert on campus. I'm excited. and in a surprisingly good mood. Iveth and Travis broke up a week ago. and Tylers Grandma died. Its been a rough week. But then we had a surprise salsa party for Iveth and Kjo for their birthdays, which was a beautiful success, except i get tired of being an extrovert after a while. And Irvin was really sweet and tucked all the girls in for our sleepover before he left. he's great. (in a he has a girlfriend in Greece right now sort of way) I'm going to South Africa really soon.
ps: its freaking cold in spokane. current temp: 34 degrees. what the hell man. And its currently 63 degrees in Fresno.
This year I'm going home for a whole week for Thanksgiving. It will be the most beautiful thing ever, I hope. :)
I figured it was time I actually wrote something about my life when I was in a decent mood. hope yall enjoyed.

| I went to a Global Literature event on campus last night. I was one of the speakers, my house was one of the sponsors of the event. I'm pretty sure the only attendees were the speakers and some wives. And yet, it was glorious. I love literature. I love reading. I love hearing global voices. why am I not an English major? my friend Jarvis chose the same book I did (there wasn't a lot of coordination for this event ahead of time) he complimented me on my pronunciation of the author's name. We both read from Zenzele, by J. Nozipe Maraire. Its an exceptional novel written as a letter from a Zimbabwean mother to her daughter studying in America. She is passing on her wisdom and observations as her almost final gift to her daughter. its beautiful and well written.
I am really really excited to go to South Africa next semester. It is coming closer and closer and closer. Its really crazy.
