| I am sorry that I have not written an entry for several weeks. Not quite sure if I can write it at the place where I use the internet, so I don't. I am at my grandmother's in Connecticutt for Fourth of July. We have not really done a lot yet. Not everybody is here yet. Some are coming home tonight. I am reading, wehich probably does not srprise anybody. The book is Mitch Albom's The Five People you Meet in Heaven. It is a really good book, althoug it is kind of sad. I want to conclude with an impropmtu poem. I thought about doing this several days ago. If somebody can respond to this e-mail, which will give me the poem, it will me gratly appreciated. It is called Alone.
I am alone in a room.
There are no windows.
There are no doors.
Nothing in the room.
Just me.
I am lonely.
Yet I should not be.
There is somebody in the room.
I cannot see Him but He is there.
I cannot hear Him, but He is there.
He is always with me
If I go to a mountain, He is there.
If I go to the beach, He is there.
This makes me content.
I am happy
I am not alone. | | |
| This is a new one. First of the summer. Maybe even only one of theb summer. Anything, I have a job working at Alpha. Can't wait first job so yeah. Went to a good restaurant yeasterday for mother's day. Thought of something this morning: The problems that you think are only youre friends fault can be partly yours. I am guilty of that and others probably can agree with me. Oh, I want to say I will miss you to the seniors, especially Kate, who I can only say we will only have cows; Bird, who probably will never read this but thanks for everything; and CLint, who I will probably see next year but thanks for being CLint anyway. Well, I have to go. Bye. | | |
| Hi, everybody. Hi, Dr. Nick!! Ok, just some Simpsons humor. Really busy during finals week. Decided to take a break between taking a final and study for another one. Did my heathy lifestyles fitness test today. I am really excited that I did really good in every category. Toook Shakespeare and English Literatrure II also don't know how I did on either. Leaving Wednesday. Probably studying this weekend. Hitchiker's Guide opens this weekend. Cannot wait to see it. I have not read the books yet, but hopefully I will get to at least start them this weekend. For all willow and Leprecaun fans, Davis is in the Marvin costume. I do not get little people in movies. It seems like they are always made fun. Have to go. bye. | | |
| Hello. This is for CLint. I am having a good day. Open dorms. DId a little homework. Probably will work on an article. I want to talk about something today that I never really talk about. Most CHristians believe that we have free will on what we do. Yes, we do have the choice of what we do. For example, a driver has the choice to drink at a party or not to drink. However, it is not neccessarily free will; God knows what we are doing before we do it. He lets us choose between two things, but he knows which one we are going to pick. Saying he doesn't is taking away his power. God is a powerful man; if he created the world, he should know what we do before we do it. He gives us two choices, a right one and a wrong one. If we pick the right choice, he knows, and if we pick the wrong choice, he knows. We do not have a choice what we do, it is already predetermined. SUre, I probably kept on saying the same things but it is fun. See you later. | | |
| Working on paper tonight at the computer lab. Tired going back to my room. Sorry it is not that long. But I am extremely busy. More things later. | | |
